  • It’s a new era in the automotive world, and we’re not talking about EVs. We’re referring to the fact that more and more often, a lot of the performance cars we test aren’t cars at all, but SUVs. Case in point, this ‪@hyundai‬ #KonaN. So, let’s hit the road and track and see how much excitement #Hyundai can pack into this little ute. #HyundaiKonaN

289 lbs.-ft torque from a 2.0 turbo 4 cylinder? I remember when the 89 Mustang GT 5.0 v8 was making 300 lbs.-ft. It was slower 0 to 60 mph in 6.6 with a manual and 7.8 with an automatic. 13.7 @ 107 mph, WTF. I've got to test drive this car.

@@anthonyforan1516 Based on your question I assume you know nothing about buying cars in 2022 so I'll explain...
Most dealerships have rare limited quantity cars like these listed at a very inflated price. We're talking $8k-15k over MSRP. Then you have to add taxes 7% of the purchase price, title, document fees and warranties. So if you buy a car at MSRP with the "market adjustment" you're paying over $40,000 out the door. Some people are paying $50,000 for rare versions of the Elantra and Kona. So the fact I walked out the door spending exactly MSRP and not a dime over is unheard of. Im probably one of very few people who got a deal of a lifetime. I work with someone who's the GM of a Hyundai dealership we did the deal in his office. I skipped the whole showroom ordeal. Plus money is power... If you go to a dealership with confidence through the roof and high spending power they'll do anything for you. Gotta know how to navigate
