Yes, Vietnam is communists but they align most with the U.S. or "The West" right? Yes they do. Casualties actually are everything unless you have enough to spare (Soviets). Germany did beat the Soviets in Battles but lost the war to the Allies and Comintern. World War II left the Soviet Union, especially its western regions, in a catastrophic state of ruin. The U.S. never lost that war.

William Perry True about that one though, after Filipino-American War we have good relations already not long after WW2 came along. We have our independence originally it is on 1898 but after a year WW2 ended, then we had military assistance deal all those years up to present day.

William Tecumseh Sherman was a cavalry general for the Union army in the civil war. In his infamous march to the sea he burned and pillaged as much as he could to break Confederate morale. We named a tank after him in ww2.

1812-Not talked about because of how goddamm annoying it is due to the arguments that follow it but to put it short war happened US had some victories against Britain, Britain had some victories against the US, Canada took Britain's credit for burning down the White House as well as most of Washington D.C. then well its hotly debated as to who won or if anyone won at all really the US got more stuff out of the treaty arguably but Britain had some decisive victories.
WW2-The US taking part of the USSR's credit is due to the lend lease the US had with Russia and since the US industry during the time was powerful it sent to the USSR from October 1, 1941 to May 31, 1945 the following: 427,284 trucks, 13,303 combat vehicles, 35,170 motorcycles, 2,328 ordnance service vehicles, 2,670,371 tons of petroleum products (gasoline and oil) or 57.8 percent of the High-octane aviation fuel, 4,478,116 tons of foodstuffs (canned meats, sugar, flour, salt, etc.), 1,911 steam locomotives, 66 Diesel locomotives, 9,920 flat cars, 1,000 dump cars, 120 tank cars, and 35 heavy machinery cars. Provided ordnance goods (ammunition, artillery shells, mines, assorted explosives) amounted to 53 percent of total domestic production.In other words a whole lot of shit although yes other western allies and what not contributed to sending the USSR supplies the US sent practically the most due to its industry which is why the US takes part of the USSR's credit.
Vietnam-It depends on how you see it the US caused more casualties in a general sense on NV forces then the NV did to the US forces but even still the US abandoned the war in Vietnam due to mass protests in the country since the Vietnam war was pretty unpopular but if that wasn't the case it could have possibly led to another Korea situation or not maybe the NV wouldn't be able to hold out against US forces in a long term war since its not like travel was as long as it was back during the 17 or 1800s it was quick so to speak cost a lot sure but the US had money to spend since it was a superpower even if the NV were back with Russian and/or Chinese support though you could say that the NV forces won since they did win against SV and were able to hold out against US forces until US forces were forced to leave the country it really does depend on how you see it.

It's a joke. Also no specific country won the war. The ALLIES won WW2. Each major power played an equally decisive role in the outcome of the war, just in different ways. England in perseverance, Soviets in blood, America in industry. The war wouldn't have been won without either of them.
