It was a funny, surprise moment... but I also wasn't surprised that this deck just folds to that. I usually scoop if I don't have an edict for Valgavoth. Valgavoth also happens to be one of the few theft cards I'm okay with, as even though it can steal from the library if you pair mill spells with it... I don't bump into many people who do that. Most of them run as many removal spells as possible and just steal things that way. For future reference, Giada is pronounced as "jaa-duhh". If the creature had a nonsense name (like Geyadrone Dihada), I would just say nothing. Giada, however, is a real world name (it's Italian, as far as I understand). For those that want it spoken plainly, I recommend looking up Giada De Laurentiis and watching her say her name - she speaks it very plainly. I'm not mad, nor am I nonplussed... I merely wish to enlighten folks that this IS one of those MTG names that is supposed to be pretty clear-cut. As for the actual deck, I wonder if Sigarda's Splendor (2WW enchantment that notes your life total and has you draw cards if your life total equals or exceeds the noted life total, and casting white spells gains you 1 life) and Revitalize (1W instant that gains 3 life and draws a card) would be good includes in this deck? Maybe perhaps replacing the Irregular Cohort (a pair of 2/2s for 4 doesn't seem that exciting in this deck) and Winter Moon (seems a bit too cute for me, personally)? I realize that this is an Angel kindred deck, but angels are usually just so well-suited to life gain packages that you can't help but lean in quite a bit on the life gain subtheme (as was picked up on in the deck tech).
