- Wild squirrel loves my a/c unit. This cute squirrel loves to sploot on the air conditioner on hot days to cool off. In this short animal video, watch this adorable wild squirrel lay on the air conditioner and air out her tail. This is a funny squirrel, Oakley, who lives in nature in our backyard and loves to visit us at this window. Today instead of just standing at the window, this cute squirrel found a nice cool place to sploot and peek inside the window to wait for us. It’s a hot squirrel summer! Warm moving air is probably better than no moving air as long as it is colder than its body temp.
@@MumrikDK If the internal AC is blowing air ~20F colder than it is outside, then the outside unit must be blowing air at least 20F greater than outside. For this example, if it's 87F outside the air coming off the compressor would be ~107F. You think a squirrel's body temp is >107F?
Like some girls enjoy sitting on a washing machine set to spin cycle. I can't figure that out, but if I was a girl I'd certainly give it a go!

They’ve tried quite a variety of nuts and haven’t found one they don’t like yet. Hazelnuts might be their favorite. Walnuts are up there too. 🌰😆💋🐿️

We are not sure if she had babies recently or if they’re on the way. This is Oakley and she had babies once in our squirrel house last year. She’s a very sweet and attentive mama when she does have little ones. 🍼😊💋🐿️
