Chie, thank you for flying to Manila and introduce Intramuros to your viewers. I hope someday you can visit Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar a bigger version of Intramuros with mostly Spanish colonial houses located in Bataan.
Finally a Japanese Vlogger featuring Intramuros in her video and giving historical information about the place. I have been looking for this kind of video. Great job! I will be sharing this to my Japanese students here in Japan. Thank you very much. Keep it up!
By far, this is the best vlog of a visitor to the country! And thank you for not glossing over our WW2 experience vis-a-vis Japan. I enjoyed your video. :)
I am in awe on how you vlog different places here in the Philippines specially in the Negros region. Just found this channel by randomly scrolling down youtube videos. Can't help to binge watch! Please upload more videos soon
I actually attended a relative's wedding in San Agustin Church. It is really beautiful. If you see a wedding held there you can sneak in for a peak. Interesting fact, it is the only church/building in Intramuros that survived almost fully intact after the bombing of Manila in WWII. The church that survived the test of time with little renovations over the centuries.
Chie-san, arigatou gozaimasu! I greatly appreciate the mostly accurate information you have shared in this video about Intramuros. Thank you for your hard work!
I learned quite a lot from this video! The cinematography, graphics, and narration are so professionally done. The music is also very fitting. Thanks for sharing!
always the superb quality . This is very amazing ,imagine 1 person doing a work for an entire crew and still elevates it to highest level. What a talent , always a worth watch
Love it! You're a very good storyteller, this feels like a mini- documentary or mini-travel show! I appreciate all the little details and thorough research that you did! Btw, thank you for the subtitle and please keep it up!😊
Well researched! Definitely worth your effort and the wait for the video to be published. 😀👍 BTW, welcome back from your vacation! Hope you had a wonderful time. ❤
I am originally from the Philippines but now live the US. I enjoyed your video and although I have to read the caption in English, I can tell you have researched it well and presented it very well too. I have been to one of the tours (walking tour) of Intramuros in 2017 and the guy that did the tour then was a very good ‘actor’ it seemed as he would enact some of the historical events at that time but unfortunately that guy passed and I think he died in Spain. I thank you for being so concise but still thorough and I think you did a very good job.
You might be talking about Carlos Celdran. Ironically, he was imprisoned in the Philippines before he died for the crime of "offending religious feelings".
Chie-san's impressive narration of Manila's past of being invaded one aftre anothr makes one think Philippines must have something othr nations in this part of the world have. It is neithr by accident nor by shallow reasons these had been happening in the past and now the Chinese seems to be following along. Prhaps anybody would have to ask why keep invading PH?
You should also make a documentary about Plaza Dilao and life of blessed Dom Justo Takayama (Takayama Hikogoro), the only Japanese Daimyo that died outside (in the Philippines) of Japan.
The Philippines has a large hintory of getting colonised and local rebellions of such rull. Tondo and maynila have been subjected to tributary or under influence off several malayo indunesian empires way before Magellan sets foot into Philippine shores.
Pls visit AND VLOG BGC HIGHSTREET, MCKINLEY HILL, OKADA MANILA, MIND MUSEUM, NATIONAL MUSEUM, MANILA OCEAN PARK, AYALA MAKATI,MALL OF ASIA, AND MANY MORE
Chie

oh if you liked that, you will love Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar ❤
100% agree.

That tour guide was Carlos Celdran! RIP!

@@nekojindes Carlos Celdran died in Spain!
@@rm_alfaro Yes, but he was imprisoned in PH for some time before he went to Spain.
@@nekojindes He got out on bail right away and the case didn't really prosper!
Sana pagandahin at malinis ang kapaligiran SA intramuros
Another great video! Thank you for sharing our heritage!
thanks for showing us around Intramuros..😊

A big part of it is the Philippines' geopolitcally strategic location as the gateway to Asia and the Pacific and as a nexus of many maritime routes.
Love the video especially the music - kundiman ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful video. Thanks for sharing! I will take your recommendation for my visit this year 😊
Nice one
