Used to go to NYC each year to meet up with relatives but now we go to Ireland and meet them there instead! Great place, great people and the roads are great for just meandering. So many great beaches and hills and lakes and villages and music and history and rain - oh, except last year when we actually got sun tans. We have a VW camper that is ideal for the smaller roads that proliferate in Ireland.
Alot of the west of ireland is blanket bog peatland ,which is only suitable for sheepgrazing and because the land is so poor they need to be wide ranging to get the best grazing, therefore the farms are usually owned by a number of farmers on common grazing land. The farmers dye the wool of there flock to distinguish there flock from other farmers flocks on the same common grazing land.Basically they are on their own for most of the year ,the farmer only takes them down off the hills a couple of times a year, for disinfection ,shearing , to meet the ram and of course lambing.
the van driving accross the causeway at coney island is probably a farmer or fisherman that has to drive over and knows the condition.i live locally you couldn't pay me to drive accross there.I
Did you research many van rental companies? How did you decided on the company you used. I’m going back to Ireland in April and want to do a van this time after watching your series in Ireland. TIA
Cmon!... You just gotta love that RING OF KERRY driving! 😱 Tip#1 What are a few goats along the road compared to the long horn cattle, burros and other critters roadside in Baja! 🤣 Tip#3 If you cannot drive a manual transmission, one doesn't belong driving! 😂 Never drove with flip flops.. Ever try driving with ski boots on? Well do not... MISSION IMPOSSIBLE! 🤣 Love that surf spot with the historic castle... NOW THAT'S MY KIND OF TRAVELING! 👍 Like the old saying goes... "I scream, you scream... we all scream for ice cream!" 🤣 GREAT SUNSET BEACH ENDING TO THE VLOG! btw... was the beer 🍺served at room temperature? Not sure I would enjoy that... I prefer mine ice cold! 🥶
Haha never tried with ski boots that sounds impossible. I have with snowboard boots which definitely are easier. The surf spot was so sweet!!! The beer was cold pretty much at every place we went to in Ireland!
Hi Kevin, in this video, I just discovered that you don’t like chocolate. Who doesn’t like chocolate?! Did something terrible happen to you on Halloween. Did all of the chocolate get stolen or eaten by someone?
Oh, I know that pier at 0:15..
We used to go there for a sneaky joint during lunchtime in work! 😂 It's down between Cobh and Carrigtwohill..
Thats unfiltered water for washer fluid.
"The water out of the watergun is for car engines not drinking"!
We also noticed that the roads were quite tiny when we were in Ireland. Loved the video guys. Very good information!
Thanks guys!!!! Hope all is well 👌🏻👍🏻

They need to dye them even on their own land because they’re thieving b@stards that always seem to prefer other people’s grass.
How did you deal with emptying your waste tanks and charging your batteries?
There's no "southern Ireland" - Just the Republic of Ireland. Glad you enjoyed your trips.
Thank you!
We were referring to the southern area of the country, not a properly named place
I think 99 ice cream called by its price of 99 cents for a long time. Obviously, the price tag changed nowadays.
