The video is a native VOB file (direct from a DVD) converted to an H264 file (done in Vegas pro 16) so DaVinci Resolve could see the file, though it looks retouched, I didn't do anything to the colours etc, what I did have to do was increase the playback speed of the video to keep in sync but only by 0.8%, though I should mention the VOB file was an NTSC and my videos are in PAL, in the VOB to H264 conversion the frame rate was set to 50 (double pal) rather than 25 this was to try and reduce the stutter effect noticeable at 25 from converted 29.9 NTSC, all that tech stuff out the way the video was very much an iconic 80s video hence I used it in my video and a great 80s synth-pop track....
I wish I had £1 for every time I've had this conversion, RUclips only details the specifications for upload requirements, there's not much detailed specifications available on RUclipss audio output but I can tell you if it was 8bit then it would sound like the Commodore 64 , it had 8bit audio. So 2 things, I tested the audio system of RUclips when I setup my channel and resampled my first upload (by selecting the highest quality playback (4K)) that had 96kHz 24bit audio and the frequency analyser exceded 20K, this meant what I uploaded still retains the full range of the audio, and secondly, the clue is in the title "captured audio". I only yesterday spoke to someone who compared one of my posts on RUclips to the same track on Tidal HiFi using a premium sound system and my post was far superior, and in case you don't know Tidal HiFi is 16bit 44.1KHz (CD).
@@anthonyvasquez1259 Ok, show me the technical specifcation on RUclips audio provided by Google that details exactly the audio quality streamed, especially since RUclips has just started to provide 5.1 surround on purchased movies, I had the I don't know what I'm talking about a 100 times from people who do know yet no one has ever proven what they have stated, RUclips keeps the exact spec very close to their chest,(i've looked many times and never found detailed info) however, I'm the one with the original vinyl, made the recording of that vinyl, uploaded the recording not to mention the £10,000s of equipment I have and use, the headphones I use (in recording my the vinyl) are Sennheiser HD820 (more than competent audiophile headphones), If anyone has no idea about what they are talking about it's more likely to be someone who has not heard either the vinyl, the recording to compare it against the uploaded RUclips post on the same equipment, it's hardly rocket science.

Anthony, I have not deleted any of your comments, I believe I'm as right as much as you do. The only comments I delete are for spam or porn related. You seem to know what you are talking about and understand the limitations of 20kHz etc, Adobe audition can visualise this frequency range, this limit is also where CD's top out, if I can find to hand a track I have on vinyl and CD, I'll record both at 96kHz 24bit to demonstrate I can see the limits of CD vs the higher range I can get vinyl, I'll then put that same demo comparison file onto my YT channel and then record the sound from my PC while playing that file, if you are correct then the frequency will top out at 20kHz for both the analog and CD and this will be visually seen in audition's visualise frequency range spectrum....If I am wrong then I will gladly accept this, though I do say to people the files a 96kHz 24bit "Captured Audio", meaning RUclips get the best quality file for them to process to start with..
@@The70s80scollection Ok. That's fine I apologize. Thanks for using an original pressing by the way, instead of a pressing ripped from over compressed digital. Sorry for the time.
@@The70s80scollection I was thinking the deletions were i just some sort of RUclips error anyway, but I still stick to my words. If RUclips really had an update where they support 24bit audio, (which I have doubted though), I have to give you a bigger apology.
@@anthonyvasquez1259 Again no problem Anthony, this RUclips audio quality subject had come up many times, and what makes it so difficult is the very little tech google/RUclips have on their streaming quality, I downloaded one of my files from youtube thinking it would be the same quality as the streaming and it was terrible and nothing like the 4K version and to be honest I was shocked that RUclips accepted 4K H265 video files that had PCM 96kHz24-bit audio, I remember the days when RUclips didn't even have stereo. I will upload a 96kHz 32-bit white and pink noise sample file and then record back into my though since moving onto windows 11, it now will not let me record audio from the PC any higher than 48kHz (the phono line in is still up to 96kHz so I could try the sound from my TV) (so up to 24kHz on each channel), at least it's still above 20kHz. I'll let you know what I find as I still what to quantify how much RUclips changes the audio.
Beautiful Sound Quality 👌👌👌🌹🌹🌹
Thanks again Komal..
Sounds good bud, appreciate the vid much !! 😎👍
Another hot mid 80s club classic! 👍🏿😎🎵🎶🎧📀
Thanks James...
seen these lovely folks in concert a few years ago on the Detroit River
Супер действительно лучший из лучших в аудио и видео большое спасибо за то, что поделились этой музыкальной жемчужиной))))
Спасибо, классика 80-х.
I never knew there was an extended version until I heard it today on the radio
Most of the 80s 12inch versions were either extended or remixed, not so common these days....
Great idea to mix the (slightly retouched) video in there :)
