Because in early Bangkok period , several Khmer princes were raised in BKK and sent to be a king. One of a king could not speak Khmer but Thai, So Thai language was used as a court language'. My opinion is that the present day of Khmer palace in Phnom Penph and dance both originated from Bangkok. Because in early Bangkok period , several Khmer princes were raised in BKK and sent to be a king. One of a king could not speak Khmer but Thai, So Thai language was used as a court language'. Once a lady in charged of ฺิdrama and dance from Thai Front palace was married with a Khmer high Prince ( King ??). She brought the BKK dance to PP which present until today.
