    Thank you both for the passion you put into this important work. It’s so helpful to hear straight out facts! I’m 14 months out from surgery and just started injections with Trimix as Viagra had minimal effectiveness. It’s a trial and error process as you described, but for me the opposite direction as the initial injection amount prescribed was too much lasting 4 hours. Keep this type dialogue going!

    Thank you both very much indeed, this was so useful! Very best wishes to you both. I wish I was based in WA rather than London, England, as things seem to be somewhat less evolved here in this field, to put it mildly! Caverject caused me pain so I'm using Invicorp, which works pretty well but could be better. But I think that the option of adjusting mixes and using a compounding pharmacist does not exist here in London(?) If I were there I would enrol for sure, Melissa, you're doing a great job!

      Hi Clifford, I'm so glad you found this useful! That's really interesting about the differences in the British system... I'm going to think about who in my network might have some UK specific insight on navigating injection therapy over there. I'll comment here if/when I have anything useful to add.

      @@ATouchySubject Thanks very much, Victoria, I'll look forward to hearing more from you about any London contacts or colleagues you and/or Melissa feel you can recommend for injection mix adjustment etc etc. Another point which Melissa touched on which was very relevant to my worries was her treatment of Peyronies. I had prostatectomy last October and seemed to get Peyronies soon after, but my local hospital (UCLH) has been quite unhelpful, advising a "wait and see" policy, and saying that once it stabilises in a year or two, surgery will be the only real option. I can't help feeling they have a bias towards surgery as they are urologists and are trained specifically in surgery! But Melissa said (and I've heard elsewhere) that, on the contrary, the sooner the better, for trying early intervention with more conservative treatments. She said those often obviate the need for surgery later altogether. I think in your interview above she mentioned one patient with PD who took 3 herbs (?), rubbed Vit E in to the area, and used a VED pump - and was healed. Is that right? I'd love to know which herbs etc! The only treatment which the hospital has said they might offer me in several months from now, before trying surgery, would be verapamil injections. I'm not sure if that's worth trying? And if it is reducing my chances of success by them constantly wanting to delay even starting? I would consider booking a one-to-one online consultation with Melissa to raise some of these questions, but I think she said there is a 3.5 month wait for that? Maybe if I ask she'll be able to squeeze me in for a 30 minute Zoom sooner than that..? Anyway, thanks again for everything, Victoria, and warmest regards. Clifford.

      @@cliffordslapper thank you for the great questions! I recommend checking out Melissa's latest video on the channel about changes to size post surgery, she mentions the herbs there. We will also have a video out soon diving deeper in Peyronies. Watch this space!

      @@ATouchySubject Thanks! Yes, I heard her mention the three herbs, and I wrote them down. I may have got the spelling wrong, but I can't find any reference to the second two when I look them up..? - "L-arginine, Lakarotine, Circamon" ...?? 🤔

    So much information to learn. I had my open prostatectomy April 17 2023. I am having my first appointment with my surgeon next week, at the moment I am just using a cheap electric pump I bought on Ebay for rehab but I don't get a firm erection. I am not taking anything (viagra, Cialis etc.) at present to assist as it hasn't been offered ? or I haven't asked the right questions. I am interested in the injection options but hesitant to just get a standard script from the surgeon or GP. I think I will go down the path of getting the vaccuret pump after watching your other videos. Thanks for yours and Melissa's help steering me through the minefield of information. Cheers

    The idea sounds great in principle, however, how do you deal with a person who is terrified of needles. EG: I have enough problems doing my diabetes injections, and that’s in my stomach, I can’t imagine injecting my penis.

      @ATouchySubject  Год назад

      Hi Robert, this is a great point and I'm sure a lot of men reading this feel the same about the idea of injections. I'll ask Melissa for her comments on this, I would suggest for men who are needle phobic to use an auto-injector so they don't see the needle at all: rshealth.com.au/product/inject-ease/?wpam_id=2 and also to refer to the part of the video where we discuss how to make the experience pain-free (41:22).

    I am 11 years post prostate removal. Initially i was on daily dose of viagra then switched to cialis because i was seeing a blue tint through eyes. I was told pump was option but not daily or regular use as therapy. Is it to late to try injection and pump therapy. I also have some urine leakage is that harmful to partner.

    Is an Auto injector the same as an epi pen?

    • @ATouchySubject
      @ATouchySubject  Год назад

      Hi Andre and Ron, great question! It's a similar idea in terms of a casing around an injection so you don't see the needle. But an auto injector is just the casing that you can load with your own medication, whereas an EpiPen comes preloaded with adrenaline

  • @eddiepiecart6030

    About a year ago, I had OHS and a valve replaced and now I'm totally impotent.
    Viagra Cialis, and other pills, Caverjec, PT141 don't work.
    My wife and I had a fantastic sex life before.
    Now we have a joke and I ask if she feels like a "floppy".
    I feel very useless as a man and frankly quite destroyed.
    The P shot sounds worth a try but is hugely expensive.
    They can make medicines to make women men and men women, medicines to block kids from puberty but nothing workable for impotent men.
    What a great piece of news to know that it isn't Caverjec that causes the pain, it's my body's fault.

      While not quite in your position, I had my wife shave her pubic area completely 9 This brought excitement to both of us). Bought an assortment of vibrators and let her pleasure herself while I kissed, rubbed and felt off her whole body. you'll find what she likes best. You'll be amazed how much you both will love it if you just let yourselves go.
      Then let her do it to you. Floppy or not, it will get better eventually, trust me
      This will get you both by until you figure it out.
      I use trimex only once a week, the rest of time we do this. Good luck. Any questions...fire away.

    Why does viagra and cialis not work after cold and flu?

    • @ATouchySubject
      @ATouchySubject  Год назад

      Hi Dean, I just asked Melissa about this, she thinks this is due to the fact the body is still generally a bit run down and sexual function tends to take a hit when the body is healing. It could also be due to taking cold/flu tablets with pseudoephedrine in them which causes vasoconstriction of the blood vessels in the penis (the erection needs vasodilation). Hope that helps!

    • @deanboulton7980
      @deanboulton7980 Год назад

      It seems to be the bodys run down and doesn’t wont to cooperate it’s definitely not pseudoephodrine i know about that drug interaction. Thanks for answering.
