Its not that they aren't allowed per se, its just that whenever they do collab with boys, people would break down because: 1. their delusions of being together with the girls - shattered 2. their delusions that the girls are only into each other in this yuri fantasy - shattered Anyway, at this point the EN girls except for Bae don't risk it anymore since they would lose a chunk of their revenue source. I remember someone saying this somewhere: "the EN girls are basically glorified babysitters at this point, having to be careful or their kids will throw a fit"

@@jcuum that’s pretty surprising to hear but I know I’ve seen interactions between more JP members and males like I saw a clip of fubki talking to a male in ark which surprised me and I know that the JP fanbase has come along way since aloe and the original rushia drama, but don’t a lot of some of those specific members you mentioned have strong western fanbase which could supplement some of the backlash, I know when JP Holostars gen 1 debuted they faced massive backlash from the JP fan base and when EN holostars gen 1 was announced they received strong backlash at first but after there debuts most people turned there opinions around, granted I’m out of the loop on some of the deeper hard to hear drama with vtubers hence why I asked my original question
