McGregor is great and exciting on the UFC. He should return. The only way he should return to boxing is a fight with Paulie Malinaggi or him actually taking it seriously and fighting lesser fighters and devoting himself to boxing which he won't do.

MMA who knows, if the UFC doesn't start paying and promoting their champions better, and if Dana White keeps having his way, then the UFC will be history. I couldn't believe how powerless Connor's punches were. Seriously he was literally tapping Floyd with his punches.
Floyd looked like a newborn baby after the fight. The "super hard punch" "Conor hits like a truck" of Conor landed 2-3 times in the first rounds and Floyd took them like it was nothing.

The boxing style of head movement doesn't really work in MMA, so it's unrealistic to expect Conor to be moving his head like a pro-boxer overnight. I don't think Conor should box again because he's not a boxer, he's a fighter.

Dana White will need to make sure his contracts are in order. Stipe already called out a boxer, right after the fight! Dana needs to make sure that he has terms in his contracts that dictate what fighters have discuss/declare in public.
If you noticed, Connor had less muscular development than he normally does. Focusing on pugilism made his body less muscular. He should stick with MMA if he is going to continue fighting. I told people he would do better than most believed he would. If he would have kept his hands up more and head down, and paced himself better. He really could have beaten Floyd. You notice there was no shoulder roll this time. It's because he would have gotten hit. I felt it was gonna turn out this way. I knew Connor needed to make the adjustments I stated earlier. If he had, he would have won. But he didn't, and Floyd being the technician he is. Well, he was able to capitalize on it. Good job to both men, no one was seriously injured. And both secured fantastic financial rewards. That's the true goal.
This was only a one time thing for conor, I hope he just keeps kicking ass in the UFC there's a lot of people that would go at him. But for sure we need that trilogy with him against Diaz.

He has a serious cardio problem. Conor can NOT last 12 rounds. So although that fight with Paulie makes some sense, he shouldn't do it. Even gets gassed in mma fights but at least there he can be comfortable and has a significantly better chance to hang on in a safer manner when it doesn't end early.
I think if he were to return to boxing i think it should be later maybe 2-3 years down the line. He needs to return to the UFC did a great job in the ring but eventually outclassed. I feel he would make a decent boxer but not be of world class standard. IMO he looked very unprepared and slightly off with his style during the fight he threw volume instead of accuracy which I think completely contrasts his style normally maybe that was due to Floyd. Anyway he needs to fight around five more fights in the UFC before he can change profession to maintain his stock and position. But I don't think he'll go back his other dimensions are far superior altogether then one specialized one can't wait to see him back in the octagon.
He could box Paulie, that's a safe fight as he is the smaller man with no punching power, but that's about it.

I think Conor can hang with any boxer in his weight range for a 6 round fight...anything passed that is bad for him. He gets so gassed he becomes defenseless.
Conor McGregor should absolutely not box again for numerous reasons. Number one he is not an entertaining or talented fighter as far as boxing goes he has no discipline and with all of the trainers and all of the information that he had at his fingertips he knew not to go out and use up all of his energy in the first few rounds which makes him hey very dumb fighter. His strength size and skill-set are severely limited when it comes to the boxing game plus anybody who could get beat up by Nate Diaz does not deserve to step in the boxing ring with such names as Cotto Mayweather I don't even want to get into a list of great boxers that would literally destroy Conor McGregor but that being said stick to UFC because you are lucky to have gotten as far as you have gotten in that sport. Personally I feel Dana White has made a huge mistake and thinking that Conor McGregor is a positive thing for the UFC Dana White's Dana White was one of the innovators and had a great vision for where MMA was going but once he started putting Focus on paper weight Champions and weight classes that people are not even interested in he needs to focus on the light heavyweight in heavyweight to fission's he needs to find more skilled fighters in those divisions to really become what he thinks he has now this is been a extremely long comment so I shall leave it alone.
Why should McGregor do boxing again? He is clearly bigger than any boxer right now and yes he is bigger, more popular around the world than Mayweather. He can fight the third Nate Diaz fight and make money. Now boxers need to line up and try and fight him in Mma.

Ward has fought at 168 lbs before and could def meet conor at a catch weight. Why is it cool for conor to fight guys smaller than him but its not ok to fight guys closer to his fighting weight hmm?

My point is that Conor actually won a couple big rounds and hung in there with the greatest boxer in recent history, I seriously doubt that a boxer would be able to win rounds in an MMA fight without further training in the sport. Don't get me wrong they're both phenomenal sports and very different from eachother but, it is tougher for a boxer to convert to MMA than a mixed martial artist to try boxing.
