I lived in Larnaca for 5 years! All Cyprus is amazing! So much to see! So much sightseeing ,night life and fun, beautiful and clean beaches and also good food! (This video doesn't show even 1% of Larnaca beauty)
hi from Cyprus we have amazing places to visit and is only finikoudes in the video .next to te airport we have flamimgos in saline. In Paphos we have sea caves in pegia one amazing place and romantic in agia napa we have cavo Greco and protaras we have clean sea with cold water .
I’m from Larnaca and I’ve lived there for most of my life but I now live in England . I absolutely love it there. Only thing is that in the summer it can get up to 60 degrees centigrade
Makenzy Beach in Larnaca is a plane spotters paradise, the airport runway is next to the beach which is lined with restaurants and bars, so you can relax with a cool drink and watch the planes land, whenever i'm in Larnaca its my first stop .
Hello from the Cyprus. Cyprus is a Greek island for 3500 years, Turk by force and war took half of our island at 1974, and they also came again with war back at 1571.. :( Cypriots are the Greeks of Cyprus :) Cyprus is Greece with different government :) thankyou for ur visit sir come again :)
Greek Cypriots are not Greeks I am afraid. Their DNA is only 20 % Greek, the rest is mixed. All of this is proven by science, it is not an opinion, it is a fact. Greek Cypriots generally look much more like Arabs than Greeks, and considering the location of Cyprus, it’s very obvious that this should be the case. You are not Greeks. You are a mixed breed, speaking a dialect of Greek with a Hybrid of Greek and Arab culture, on an independent island. It is time you stop having this complex and accept what you truly are.
I lived in cyprus for 7 years and really enjoyed larnaca, sadly i moved over to scotland and i only get to visit cyprus every few months, my favourite part is the town center where i liked to ride my scooter around the fountain!
Hi!
Finley Baverstock Am just giving my own opinion , I hope its very useful information for brown people, who want to visit here . Srry bro if hurt u but it’s true
Just want to let you know that there is no east or North cyprus, only Cyprus.. The north or so called part of cyprus is illegally occupied by Turkey after invasion in 1974,and should not be recongised by the world with any name other than Cyprus.
every country has north south east and west ( even citys have north south east and west), and what is called Northern Cyprus was invaded by Turkey to stop the illegal annexation of cyprus by Greece. Also please remember Cyprus was a Turkish island rented by the British until the first world war
My mother was from Larnaca & so were her parents from generations about. Yes they’re Turkish Cypriot & they were from Greek/Turkish villages where people got along with each other before Greece & Turkey as well as the English ruined everything with their political ideologies. What a shame, such a beautiful island was reckoned with!!!
Cyprus was never a Turkish island although you wished too and it will never be. Cyprus was firstly invaded after the fall of Constantinople in 1571, and second time in 1974. Both times Turkey slaughter the people of the Island (Greeks) raped and ruined the churches. Turkey was ruling and taking taxes from the people until 1878 when the British ruled. Study some books and history before you write or talk and not just copy what you hear at the coffee shops.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it but that "thing" on the side of the road is a kleftiko oven. The seller would put kleftiko inside in the early hours and come dinner it was ready to sell. You could drive by, stop and enjoy melt on the bone kleftiko any time. Sadly they are mostly unused now. Restaurants in the tourist areas often rush the cooking process and it just doesn't taste the same.
Honestly i was born and raised in Cyprus its such a calm and beautiful place, my roots are Ethiopian however Cyprus is my home the people I've grown with throughout my life in here is like nothing else, many people that come to Cyprus think that Cypriots are racist and bad however that's not true racism exists everywhere, at some point of your life you will encounter some sort of misbehaviour and offensive reaction towards you whether thats cause of your skin color, weight, height, face, but in the end of the day its how you much you want to be bothered with it the're so many great people everywhere and so many bad people at the same time but please don't judge a place a country a person by the way you've been treated from others. One, two ten, or even thousands of people don't represent the majority, come and see for yourself. Cyprus is a lovely place with lovely people. Gabriel Traveler Cyprus is Greek and that is the reason we speak Greek in Cyprus. The whole island is Greek, not just the "southern part" you had been at. Since illegal turkish invasion took place in Cyprus in 1974 and is still illegally going on, please use the term "free area" when referring to the provinces of Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca, half Famagusta and half Nicosia and term "occupied area" of Cyprus for the provinces of Kyrenia, the upper half of Famagusta and the upper half of Nicosia and not to "northern" and "southern" or whatever else "part" of Cyprus.
People in Cyprus speak greek. Other speak turkish. Which is one of the official languages (check your ID please, or a friend's ID if you don't have one). What do you see? Greek, English and ... Turkish, right? What you say about free and occupied areas is true, but please keep that old school thinking that "Cyprus is Greek" away from the public. Its the ideology that brought us into this mess to begin with. Cyprus is independant. Neither Greek nor Turkish. And as much as it hurts some people, we are a mix of Christian and Muslim and its beautiful. Something everyone should be proud of and not bitter and whiny.
We are GREEKS above all. We are Cypriot only in the sense that Greeks from Crete are Cretan, or Greeks from Athens are Athenian. We are not part of the Greek state, but we are Greeks through and through. Only some stupid communists and foreign-funded NGOs claim otherwise.
@@okochannell Yes, we speak standard Greek. Our accent is a bit strange (to mainland Greeks), and we also use some words that are considered "archaic" among most Greeks, but basically there's absolutely no difference.
@@diavasmamevroxi I know there are patriotic socialists here in Cyprus (like Vassos Lyssarides). I meant the stupid foreign-funded "bi-communal groups" etc. who try to create an artifical "Cypriot" identity.

Thanks for visiting my homecountry! I'm glad you liked it but so sad all you had to show was larnaca, as this is by far our least nice city (I'm gonna get much hate for that). Cyprus has so much more for you to see. Next time visit the west - northwest coast or the southern modern city of Limassol and don't forget to give me a shout ;)
You went through the trouble to put the name of the hotel where you stayed but you did not put the name of the most important tourist attraction inside Larnaca, the church of St Lazarus (minute 05:10).
Gabriel you will always have a friend in Pefkohori Chalkidiki in Greece it would be a pleasure for me to give you a free place to stay and help you in any way ! Keep on travelling and stay safe !
You were impressed about the castle built in 12th century AD. What about the church you firstly showed? It was built in 3rd century AD i think by St. Helen, where St. Lazarus (friend of jesus christ) was burried. Good haa :)
In the winter i.e. January-February the temperature in Greece and Cyprus can go up to 20 degrees Celcius with a lot of sunshine. However we, Greeks and Cypriots alike, wear jackets and watch the tourists with T-shirts as if they were aliens hahaha.
Staying at the Petalmo Apartments (for the second time) because this video! Great stuff. Update: the bus is a whopping €3,50 now, a huge increase from five years ago.
HEY GABRIEL, ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO CYPRUS AND IT IS ON MY BUCKET LIST. WITH YOUR VIDEO I KNOW WHEN TO COME. I DON'T LIKE CROWDS SO I WILL GO IN THE LOW SEASON. THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD INFORMATION. BROCK

I have there about 2 years as a student ..I love it cant forget days I spent there really a looks like glexy island...I wish to visit it aghain in my life....love it miss Cyprus
R u cipriot...if then saga poo❤❤❤
Same😄
Thanks for visiting my homecountry!
Hi, I posted two other videos of Cyprus: ruclips.net/user/gabejedmosearch?query=Cyprus
You went through the trouble to put the name of the hotel where you stayed but you did not put the name of the most important tourist attraction inside Larnaca, the church of St Lazarus (minute 05:10).
Beautiful country to be staying
Ohhh i miss this place... I’ve been here last year... nostalgic 😊
I live in Larnaca and i reassure you its pretty at night, lights turn on at Finikoudes Beach
Lots of good information. Great job again Gabriel
Thanks. :)
Thanx a lot Gabriel. This video show something very, very importand for me...
Yes ,it is. I live in Larnaka.
I lived 6 month in larnaca very nice place
I'm from Cyprus! 🌍
Wow, I just found your channel today! I loved the content, you have a new subscriber :--)
Cool, glad to hear it, enjoy the videos.
Great video - it seems that Larnaca is worth to visit :-)
Gabriel you will always have a friend in Pefkohori Chalkidiki in Greece it would be a pleasure for me to give you a free place to stay and help you in any way ! Keep on travelling and stay safe !
Thanks a lot Alexander, appreciate it.
However we, Greeks and Cypriots alike, wear jackets and watch the tourists with T-shirts as if they were aliens hahaha.
larnaca reminds me of jumeira beach with small cafeterias and place for siting on bench and villas around there
feels like dubai to me
Staying at the Petalmo Apartments (for the second time) because this video! Great stuff. Update: the bus is a whopping €3,50 now, a huge increase from five years ago.
Great, have a nice time in Cyprus.
HEY GABRIEL, ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO CYPRUS AND IT IS ON MY BUCKET LIST. WITH YOUR VIDEO I KNOW WHEN TO COME. I DON'T LIKE CROWDS SO I WILL GO IN THE LOW SEASON. THANKS FOR ALL THE GOOD INFORMATION.
BROCK
Trust me, you are better off going to Greece or Portugal. Cyprus is a rip off
I work in cyprus for 6 years.nicosia and Limassol best country and safe as well.
what airline do you use in European travel? Ryanair is usually the cheapest of all companies
I flew Ryan Air from Jerusalem to Cyprus, and then flew Blue Air from Cyprus to Greece. I just take whatever is cheapest.
Nice video. what about prices in Restaurants and Cafe's?

hey Gabriel, another great video as usual, Sorry that you couldn't make it to Lebanon this time, maybe sometime in the future...looking forward to watch your videos from Greece, with better stabilization this time :)
