DImash just won 2 Awards at the Russian Music Awards 2019: "Best Vocalist of the Year (Classical Music)" and "Newcomer of the Year" Composer Igor Krutoy (the bald headed gentleman at the Piano) also won the "Best Song" Award for "Love of tired Swans" (which Dimash sings). His Big Goal is to win a Grammy!
Dimash is a highly skilled opera singer, his lower register is beautiful, rich and velvety and his higher register is crystal clear. He has been training since he was 5, so he has given up his childhood to realise his dream. I love him and his voice so much 💖
Раньше не нравилась опера. Но появление Димаша изменило взгляд вообще на всю музыку. Хочется слушать и оперу и рок и шансон лишь бы это исполнял Димаш. У него все песни божественные!!!

Nice reactions. It is a work of Art. The choir. Dimash singing in Italian. The stage image is a reference to Dante's Inferno. The strugle of mankind between good (Dimash in the white clothes) and evil (the choir and the screaming lady). When all hell breaks loose there is an angel (the little girl) which touches our hearts and souls. The World will be allright again (the beautiful last phrases Dimash sings represent that). I can be totally wrong, but this is what I get out of it. Greetings from Amsterdam.
As a refresher, the piano player is Maestro Igor Krutoy who joined Dimash with the plan to compose several songs for him in addition to all the songs Igor already has. The first one was Ogni Pietra (Olympico) and the second is this song. New Wave is Igor's annual festival & every song Dimash sang there is Igor's He also reworked the song Know which now has a music video on Dimash's channel. I think the 3rd song Igor composed for him is Where Love Lives.
EPIC --- Watch it several times -- take in the backdrop. Dante's Inferno -- the Crucible of humankind. Human struggle , temptation, redemption, and angelic trills. Good Christ! What a stunning performance. His lower range has been developed to such an amazing depth. Wow!
