I literally started this video probably about 8 hours ago and I got so stuck into it, I can't even believe I've just finished a video after like a month of not being able to finish anything. I hope you all enjoy this.

Watching this makes me so sad because i know my best friend will never consider me as a family to her just because of I'm not biologically related to her , i always tell her you're my sister but she never did tell me this in return and i always feel like she treats her family way better than me , i tried my best to prove to her i deserve to be her sister and when i tell her about how i feel she tells me it's her family and her privacy , i mean she's not wrong but knowing that there is a possibility of me having this bond that i never had in my life and it's not happening no matter how hard i tried make me feel sad and worthless , i hated myself and always felt like there is something wrong with me and i tried countless times to change my bad behaviours and nothing really changed 💔

It's not that you need to be bIood to be family. It's just that bIood matters more. Take me and my aunts for example. My mom has one sister and two sister-in-laws, and we spend much more time with her sister than her in-laws. My mom travels with her sis, not the other aunts. They and my younger sister traveled out of state to visit the girl's boyfriend. My aunt was there for said sister's graduation. And she traveled with us to my older sister's graduation from college and, a few years later, her wedding out of state. We don't hang out with my uncles' wives much, because they're just the in-laws. If it weren't for my uncles, we wouldn't be family with the marital aunts. And that's the other thing: my older sister got divorced, so now I have no relation to her ex-husband. My sister, my bIood, my old brother-in-law, their old marriage. And one day my younger sister might marry her boyfriend, and we'll ONLY be family through her. If they get divorced too, no familial relation then. I'm sorry, but bIood does go first in family. In-laws are JUST in-laws. By marriage is JUST by marriage. My bIood aunt goes first, my marital aunts go after.

My parents loved their kids and still do. They gave a lot of love to us, did their best to raise us well. It's breaks my mom's heart to hear her talk about her "chosen family".
I love my sister too, as adult siblings why not use the word friends around biological family? Our family was not perfect, but my parents accept us as we really are. We ate dinner together every night, mom or dad would give us rides all the time, picking us up at 11pm or later every weekend and have good talks in the car about whatever. They literally attended every game in sports we played and every event we had with music or school. They were present and available. Dad wasn't the best with emotional intelligence but not that bad for his age.
I understand Chosen Family when they have exhausted other options with a toxic family.
But "Chosen Family" is a term used way too freely by people to describe good friendships when they have good families already. And that hurts...
You know, I'd strongly suggest you talk with your sister; if there's a reason she has a chosen family, and if you two have a good enough relationship, she'll likely talk to you about it.
Sometimes people don’t have a good relationship with their blood family and when they are close to other people who aren’t blood that connection goes deeper then blood and soon they are like a family
