In Gujarat you would see many such cars without any number plate. Its a common thing here, and police are least bothered about it.

Thank You! Road widening work is going from Dahanu itself, it’s in patches both side. Better to pass early morning or late night. But please be cautious while driving, the roads are partially done with concrete slabs, there are many places where there are blocks on roads, partially done, divider rocks have come done and lots of diversion with sudden turns.
NHAI are least bother with safety precautions on these patch.
