Somewhere on a hard drive Dan has hundreds of videos of real girls and boys putting their feet in the camera, that content is now out in the world to be used.
The really sad thing is, she didn't even show 10% of the amount of feet scenes that he's done throughout his shows. There's a ton more, and even when i was a kid watching these shows, i noticed just how weird it all was.
The Amanda show was one of the weirdest shows he did , all them fake adverts really pushing boundaries. 🤢

The fact that Dan’s tweets read like a deviantart foot fetish roleplay post (keep in mind, this is a big time TV executive on a PUBLIC PLATFORM with no anonymity whatsoever) is very telling.

On the Amanda Show, there were scenes where suddenly she has to take off her socks and go barefoot. Like why?? As a child, I didn’t notice. But now as an adult, it’s jarring.

I was too old for a lot of these 2000s Nickelodeon shows in the 2000s (more of a 90s guy) but I did catch some of that stuff flipping channels and I was shocked at how kids were presented. I've always been sensitive to issues of consent and adult/kid dynamics because my dad was an abuser. I get it. Kids wear bikinis. But this felt less like a pool party for a bunch of kids and like someone set up a webcam for R. Kelly.
I'm a writer, but I don't know if I could write for kids TV, especially these days. You have to actually think about what the kids are wearing and I'm not going there. It's interesting that so many of these shows are set in places like California - you know, where it's very warm all the time. I didn't watch any of these shows, but I did see a thumbnail for a video clip from a show called Victorious, where a seemingly very young Ariana Grande was basically engaging in what looked like a wet bikini contest. I want to be a guy in that writer's room when that idea was being pitched. I don't know how you discuss a scene like that without someone going, "Um, excuse me, are we writing the script for a porn movie or a TV show for kids?" I'm starting to see why porn websites have gone in the direction they have. All these kids grew up with this stuff and they've been conditioned to be into what they're into. Dan Schneider and others weren't just grooming the actors in their shows - they were grooming an entire generation to think certain behaviours are okay.
I'm not going to be the moral police, but one thing should be at the forefront when you're doing this stuff: 18. That's legal age. If your television is reenacting things that are in porn or at strip clubs, they should definitely be out of kids shows. My father was a creepy guy around kids, but he was the opposite. He knew he had issues, so he insisted that females of any age "dress suitably." That's also problematic, but it highlights what goes on in these people's heads. I don't know any normal grown man who actually enjoys being around kids. Sure, if you're a father, hopefully you love your kids, but if you enjoy being around kids, any kids too much as a man, you could have issues. And reenacting things you saw on adult websites (like wet things splattered on faces) in a kids show should have gotten this clown fired immediately. But money talks. The shows were successful.

Was anyone else extra creeped out that he mentioned “Too Cute” in the tweet to his wife? The feet rubbing part is gross, but given the context of what Too Cute is (Animal Planet show about the early lives of mothers of puppies and kitties) juxtaposed against that, alarm bells were going off. While we don’t know if he has a thing for animals, I wouldn’t put it past him…

Has anyone ever alleged Dan Schneider did *illegal* things with kids? These Tweets clearly paint a picture of his foot fetish, and how he directed that toward minors... and yet Tweets obviously aren't against the law. I'm just wondering: Was he the type who got away with all he could *without* ever breaking the law? Or are there other allegations against him of crimes?
At the very least, he supplied and encouraged alcohol to minors (see Jennette's book)
