Great video as usual! Loved hearing you getting "recognized" by the BNSF crew. I live in Florida now, but spent several years in California & was reminded of how some crews especially the Amtrak commuter trains would let railfans know they were appreciated with a full "Shave and a Haircut. Haven't heard one of those in a long time. . .
+JAMES MARK I forget which tracks were GN or NP in the past, but this is the current BNSF mainline that, north of here, passes the stadiums and crosses Salmon Bay near the fish ladder and locks.
were they working on the signals or something the guys in the pickup trucks? looked like they were checking something inside that shed and if that first train with the tankers started too come off the curve how fast can you get the ------- outta there lmao
+David Schieler There was a crew working north of me, looks like they were a signals crew. I deliberately moved my position farther from the tracks so they didn't see me too close to the tracks. Some employees are cool, some will hassle you if they see you with a camera close to the tracks.

Looks like Tukwila is a good place to shoot!
Nice video. Is this the ex-GN line that goes over the salmon ladder and passes the sports stadiums?

Hey great catch! Question, what kind of camera do you use?
+Railfan Rob I use a Sony HDR-CX12. It's a few years old now, but it's small, light and takes great HD video.
