Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning SPFX Makeup Artist Ed French narrates the weird tale of a fiendish force that threatened to destroy the human race!
Just back from a hectic evening at work. Time to relax with my favourite narrator. Many thanks, Mr. French.
All we can promise you, my friend, is a genuinely CHILL story! Enjoy! E.E.F.
I've always liked reading (and hearing) stories which take place during Winter or at either Pole. This story, "Who Goes There?" and "In Amundsen's Tent" are my favorites. Thanks, Mr. French, for this brilliant narrative!
Thanks, Walterfechter8080. "Frankenstein" and "Who Goes There" may be the most famous stories to take place in zero temperature locales. I only recently discovered The Arctic Death which plays, to me at least, like an old episode of The Outer Limits. E.E.F.
@@FrenchEdward06 - Yes, I can see how "The Arctic Death" is similar to an episode of the "Outer Limits." The beings are sentient and not mindless brutes. The protective gear which the protagonists wear brings to mind something from the original OL. As you know, there was an episode of The Outer Limits which took place at a military installation in the Arctic. Gary Merrill and Harry Gardino were in that episode. It was creepy and well-acted. The episode was entitled, "The Human Factor." Thanks again, Mr. French.
Same here, films too like"who goes there" the thing etc,it's makes me feel cooler and it's remote.
@@zombiebiker5581 - There's just something unnerving about being in a frigid hostile environment; alone or with a few other humans; in a desolate part of this planet. Anything could go wrong with our imagined "reliable" human resources, let alone the threat of "something else out there."
@@walterfechter8080 You may want to check out 'At the Mountains of Madness' by H.P. Lovecraft, 'The Terror' by Dan Simmons, and, if you're into crime and action adventure, the 'Whiteout' graphic novels by Greg Rucka...if you haven't already. All have the same isolated Antarctic setting/person or group of people confronting something horrific.
Thank you Mr French. Excellent, as always. Very best wishes from the UK 🇬🇧
JOLLY GOOD, hearing from you, mate. E.E.F.
@@FrenchEdward06nay, nay Sir. Thou should reply, jolly good show ol' bean. Absolutely spiffing to have you listening to my recordings. 😂
It's ok mate, I'm from the UK too, we don't talk nuffink like that over 'er!!
@@SueCooke Thanks, SueCooke1969. BLOODY good show! E.E.F.
What a great tale expertly narrated as always, I always enjoy these tales every Saturday.
Thanks for listening @darrenjump4579 and being a part of Fiction Fantastique's "Evil army of the night." E.E.F.
@@FrenchEdward06 it's always a pleasure to listen to you, it makes my weekend complete.
That was a fun one, thanks as always Mr.Edward
You are WELCOME. I thought it was a fun one too! I guess Brinebar read the riot act to that silly brain creature! E.E.F.
Nice reading. I like the impression of frenetic narration. : )
Such a treat-as always! Thank you Edward
Absolutely EPIC and AWESOME , Edward ! Your production elements have , amazingly , gotten only better when it seemed there was hardly any room for improvement .
In short ; you are TOPS , man ! Great work !
P.S. Dug the Outer Limits vibe , and outro score , to this one , pal . A+ job .
Thanks. Some of the audios here- the classics like The Legend of Sleepy Hollow- are presented without music or "bells and whistles" and that is as it should be. You can't "improve" them with sound effects. All that stuff would diminish the writer's work. In some cases, like "The Arctic Death," I think it adds to the entertainment. Cheers. E.E.F.
a best narrator on RUclips 🎉
Thanks, @tomsenick2033. E.E.F.
The week has gone quickly !!
It's a sunny English Sunday morning and like last week and I am again listening to your latest reading.
Another excellent story and reading Mr French.
Looking forward to the next one - a new weekend ritual taking shape I think 🤣
Have a most splendid day Sir 😃
Welcome to my ritual @leemorris1360. Thanks! E.E.F.
Oooh I know this will be awesome! Thx for all the creepy memories 😮 💜
Allways looking forward for a stories.

AWW. Thanks, joannewatts9892. It's nice when there's the occasional happy ending. Cheers. E.E.F.
@@FrenchEdward06 yeah .
TOP READING E.E.F. THANKS ❤
And with a little, "Outer Limits", style help. Very nicely done!
Thanks, bigearl3867. I'm a diehard O.L. fan. This is the fantastic music of Dominic Frontiere. E.E.F.

Yeh, the Sci-Fi images are the funkiest! Thanks. E.E.F
First!...alright, second! Cheers from the North-West Territories! wsj
Nice to hear from ya. And thanks for listening! E.E.F.
@@FrenchEdward06 -- I cannot tell a lie! We're no longer known as the North-West Territories but as Saskatchewan! Cold as the Arctic tho! wsj
That voice boomed just as I was drifting off. 😂 Great story. Great reading. Thank you.
very cool story!
Hey Mr. French! Did "Who Goes There?" get pulled? I can't seem to find it.
Q-Vibrations?
You are truly excellent at voice acting 👏, Edward French. It would be stinkin' awesome for you to engage in a collaboration with Simon Stanhope or Jasper L'Estrange! I'd be simply giddy with excitement 😊
I love all three of these narrators!
@@rosiemcnaughton9933 They are awesome, aren't they? 😁👍🙌
THANK you, @waningmooncancer9628. I'll look these guys up. I sort of avoid listening to other readers. It can be discouraging. When I hear how good they are (and there are a lot of very good ones), I wonder what the hell I think I'm doing. Then I have to kick myself and remember that it's all about having fun and imagining you're telling a story to a friend. E.E.F.
@@waningmooncancer9628 Terrific!
@@FrenchEdward06 Edward, you are one of the best. You, Simon Stanhope and Jasper L'Estrange all have different styles but are equally good. 😁
