I kinda hate it when people saying how they love Jared more or Shannon is better. I love both of them even Tomo, Jamie or Stevie in the band. They're all idols I look up to and deeply appreciate. I just don't get why people have to compare someone to another. We all hate being compared, why do it to others? They're human beings. They're different. And they are amazing in their own way.
I like how Shannon really stands for reality.
I love 30 Seconds To Mars because they stand for making your dreams come true, to believe in yourself and others... Truely, seeing them live was such a unique experience. I felt joy, part of something and so emotionel.
30 Seconds To Mars helped me to open up my mind. Definitely. And when I feel sad or just great; I listen to them. Just because they cheer me up or make me even happier.

@21:02 it is awesome that he promotes music (creativity) in schools, saying that it excercises the brain. I totally believe the "normal" hierarchy of learning (reading, writing and arithmatic etc.) is so stunting to the creative mind that having music, movement, and art integrated into that hierarchy would enhance the learning process threefold. Thank You Mr. Leto.

Knowing that my favourite drummer uses my favourite sticks and my size is pretty awesome.. Vater is the only brand where I've had a pair of sticks for quite a significant length of time without them breaking. I agree with pretty much everything Shannon says. Great grip, super solid, the tips never chip for me. just awesome! Love 30STM !!!

I know 30 Seconds to Mars wouldn't be the same without Shannon. He's so talented and creative! I loved when he said he got lost in the music looking at the crowd, and seeing everyone feeling their songs. It's beautiful. Thank you for existing, guys!

Never listened to Shannon talking so much. one of the few honest interviews of a great artist.
Never really liked this band at all. But I saw them open for another band once and this guy is definately a beast behind the kit. Kept me entertained through the set.

Hey thanks for sharing,I agree for schools and music,was a T.A and ran a PMP class for 5-12 year olds, had so many fun times with kids allowing them to find their own rhythm, to listen and to feel, just seeing that spark in their eyes was awesome. I mean, he barely talks, but sometimes silent people are the most creative and brilliant. I think the system is made up to mediocrity, really.
