I've been using the app for over 6months, and, now my sister and my niece have downloaded onto their devices. They are really happy with the app, and how easy to let their emotions go
i love how she said shes more confident in speaking tagalog..just shows how she really love the philippines and of course filipinos love her so much even before she went big in sokor...
Koreans kpop fans can be really critical even if you put on a good performance. Meanwhile Filipinos accepted her even though she can't dance (at that point), can't act because she's neither fluent in english and tagalog (again at that point) and could barely sing. I think the love she got from her Filipino fans really struck her heart and is something she'll forever be grateful with.
With all the stories Dara has shared, I am not surprised that she's still in the entertainment industry and thriving. She always have this tenacity and passion, that not all people have, that will always be her anchor. It was such an honest, honest interview. And can we all agree how good her speaking voice is? Thank you, Dara! Thank you, Eric! Thank you, Daebak Show! Thank you, Dive!
I don't speak Tagalog but as a Filipino it makes me feel happy when Sandara says she feels most comfortable speaking Tagalog even though she's not Filipino by blood it feels like I'm looking at a Filipino idol and I know how much the Philippines love sandara park and I admire her too❤
Dara proving her "Krungkrung" nickname is still in effect. She's really funny and goofy. For someone who has achieved so much and coming from a legendary group she still is well grounded. What i love most about her is how much love and appreciative she is of her fans. From being an actress/singer in Philippines til now she still haven't changed.
Dara is a kind hearted person it shows in her personality.Even if She is recognized with his dedication and perseverance. She is still continue to be humble despite on the success She is achieving. I like Sandra Park She is honest.❤❤❤
I was really amazed when Dara said she is more comfortable to speak in Tagalog, although she's Korean but she can speak Tagalog fluently. That's the reason why We as Filipino loved Sandara so much !!!!!
I spent my allowance before to vote for her to win in that talent show that started Sandara's career, watching her today got me thinking, she was worth all those money I spent in voting for her. So so proud of Sandara.
In 2009, my father went to South Korea for a business trip. When he got back, he mentioned that Sandara is very famous there with 2ne1 and he was talking about it. My parents reminisced her days during the Star Circle Quest (the show where Sandara got famous). It’s like a storytelling about their niece or family member that got famous abroad. They are very proud. And I think that’s the reason 2ne1 was gotten very big in the Philippines. Filipinos treated Sandara Park as their family member, eventhough she is a full korean and not a Filipino, she treated the Philippines as her home. She felt proud that she came from the Philippines and did not forget all the people around her when she’s not yet famous. Her humility, passion, and charisma makes her what she is today. She was born as a star.
i cried while watching this interview! i got into kpop because of Sandara and i really really love her and 2ne1! thank u so much Eric for having her on your show! sa iyo pa rin talaga ako uuwi dara!
It was such a heartfelt conversation. Her influence makes most of Filipinos appreciate KPop. Agree…that inner fire of Dara, her tenacity and perseverance got her now on what she accomplish. The respect and admiration are felt across the screen. Thanks Eric Nam, DAEBAK Show and DIVE Studios for having our Dara in your show.
A lot of koreans included celebs until now couldn't believed that dara is really a big star in the Philippines. Dara, being a star circle quest contestant at that time was already popular in general public, she was liked and loved on that show. And when she became a celebrity, she became phenomenal. You will see dara everywhere... tv shows, mall shows, advertisement etc, literally she's everywhere. Even filipinos who reside on the remotest province/place here in ph knows her.
that Tenacity, gurll! Never back down! and look at her now. still in the limelight! the girl who almost failed to debut now becomes the most active out of the four all these years. love u bigtime, Dara! 😢😢😢
Even as a 2NE1 fan, there are many stories of their pre-debut that I heard for the first time here, wow! Great interview!! When they broke up, I stopped listening to K-Pop for many years (went back to my regular punk/indie/rock/metal). It's a few weeks ago ago that I just got back into K-Pop with this new (well, new to me, they've been around like 7? years) group called "Dreamcatcher" who, just like 2NE1 at the time, has such a unique color in the sea of mostly forgettable girl groups. I do still listen to Park Bom whose voice I still really love, who occasionally releases music, and CL of course. I didn't realize Dara had a new album, I'll go check it out!
Sandara Park is such an inspiration, she really did'nt give up on her dream of becoming of a singer. And she experienced several challenges, hardships in attaining them, and now shes successful. Someone said she makes the impossible possible...Solo Dara proved that she can be an amazing performer on stage. Thank you Eric Nam Daebak show and Dive Studios for the interview
She is not only hardworking. She's a fighter ~ never giving-up! And she's brave enough to stand-up, make a move and create opportunities for herself. That's why she's so amazing!
can you believe an episode of catching up with Sandara literally cured my depression there's no words to describe how much love I have for 2ne1 girlies
I love the vibe Eric creates when he interview people. I feel like the guests feels so relax and they express genuinely. Eric, thank you for giving us such authentic contents of our idols.
I felt good chemistry with these two. I love the way Eric interviewed her. I felt the respect and adoration at the same time. Dara looks comfortable and relaxed with this show! This is the first time I finished watching a full episode of a talk show. I wasn’t bored even just a little bit! Love this!
I wished, manifested and waited for this moment to come. Because I know Eric can deliver this kind of interviews well and this are 2 people that I really really love and admire. Now I am waiting if there will be a chance for a song collab from the two of you even if its just a cover because your voices soothes me and I wonder how it would sound like together... 🤗🤗 Thank you so much for having our Dara Daebak show/Dive studios. The wait was all worth it!!! 😭🥰🙏
Thank you for having Dara on the podcast Eric! 2NE1 was my favorite girl group and as a Pinoy myself, I'm so proud that Dara continues to love the Philippines today.
This interview shows how humble and open Sandara is. It's amazing how she started in the Philippines by being dragged into an audition to becoming a star, then goes to South Korea to become a trainee. If you can notice as well, she kept on thanking all the people who helped her in the past and up to the present. She's asked if there is one more thing she wanted to add, then she mentioned Uhm Jung-Hwa again as she has helped her a lot and she wants to be like her in the future -- helpful to the future generation in the music industry. Even with all her achievements from the Philippines to South Korea, she still goes on for her happiness that radiates to her fans. A humble legend indeed. More power to you Eric Nam and Sandara Park
Dara’s sincerity and warmth are overflowing. Thank you so much for this very heartwarming interview! Dara unnie, fighting! Eric Nam, fighting! Dive Studios, fighting!
From her answers, you can tell that she is speaking from the heart and her answers are not scripted. I love her mindset of (You guys really deserve me) it shows how much she has grown and keeping toxic people and fans away but in the same time focusing on those that support and wish the best for her wholeheartedly
It's such a good interview.. basing on Dara unnie's responses, the atmosphere's light and maybe a little cozy. Eric and Dara mentioned how she's a shy person so it's nice she talked a lot and in a level of comfortability here. The flow of the interview is quite nice, thank you for how reassuring Eric was on the right parts and it helped that he comes from a fan POV. Please have her in Mindset too. 😁
I could watch this dozens of times, I love Dara so much! wish her the very best! Thank you Eric for this great interview and being so great, thank you Dive for so quickly putting subtitles up, and thank you Dara for blessing my life!
So happy to see Eric's fanboy side. 😄 this is such a wonderful interview. Thank you for having the lovely Dara on the show. Eric, you must make a song with Dara!
Dara Dara bright Dara! As what Eric Nam said, we're so glad that you did those things that you did in the past, as a fan... because if not, what will 2NE1 be without you. You brought color to our lives and is still bringing us color. Always take care unnie!! And thank you Daebak show for inviting Dara.
This is a testament that if you got a lot of rejections, frustrations yet you kept on going. Eyes on the goal. Sandara was very tenacious and that perseverance, ugh. She is here now.
i heard from friends from philippines that she is the biggest reason why that country is such a massive kpop supporter nowadays as she has promoted Kpop to another level. She is such the sweetest senior i couldve imagine. Now that BP is out of YG's individual contract i hope to see them interact with 2NE1 soon especially Dara as she was really helping them promote their name and personalities and silently supporting them. Would love to see Dara on Suga's show too as BTS is a big fan of Dara too ever since their rookie days. Thank you divie studios for this legendary heartfelt interview.
Dara never fails to make me laugh and smile~ Her energy is so infectious🖤 Please bring more “og” kpop idols! I would love to hear their debut stories as well~ Kim Jae Joong next pls🫶
Wow, I really love her tenacity. All throughout her career, from the trainee days, thru asking Epik High etc. to join so she can be on stage. That'll be my new year's resolution, to be more tenacious and like raise my hand more have more initiative, and just put myself out there. And I think it's really a good practice, evem though we work in different industries. Sometimes people box shy or introverted type as not a go-getter, but that's just not always the case. For me personally, as an introvert and shy person, I admit that it's part of why I hold myself back (of course there are other factors) but this is really really inspiring! Thank you, ate Sandara for sharing this with us. Her fans probably knew most/some of this already but I seldom follow artists closely, I just casually watch or listen to them, that's why these things are new to me. And I'm just really touched! ♥️ I'm glad I watched this!
and she remains humble and kind as well, like when she talks about her sunbaenims, or CL. That's also a good trait, I feel like in a harsh industry, when you became tenacious, it hardens you or makes you too proud. Being proud isn't bad, she's have that confidence too but you know, she have a good balance!
Thank you so much, Eric! Dara was so honest and I even went emotional at some parts, but overall, what a very wholesome and warm interview from you. Thank you 💯. And that “Please never give up” hit hard. **a virtual group hug to all Blackjacks**
Wow !!!! Thanks Eric for making Dara comfortable and we the fans learned ther other side. That’b ‘s real talk with Eric Nam. Well done Daebak show !!!!
Thank you for inviting Sandara Park. I'm so proud of how much she has achieved. I've seen her growth here in the Philippines and also in Korea and Internationally. Wishing her all the best always. ❤
Sandara almost didn't make the cut for 2NE1 but when she did and instantly became the most popular member. I really commend Dara for never giving up. ♥️
Please be a dear and give "Festival" MV a watch after finishing this interview. Support Dara's new solo album so she can release more music in the future! 😊💗
Dara’s fan since Philippines days and she introduced me into kpop. She is the standard. The person who never give up 🎉 she deserve all the love and success
Yay! Finally, the legend herself is here! I've been wishing she would appear on this show since the hype of her solo debut started and I'm glad it finally happened! This has been such a fun and relaxed interview. I always love hearing Dara's anecdotes about her incredible journey as an idol and celebrity. She really is such a fighter! Thank you so much for having her and I hope this isn't the last time! I can listen to you two talk for hours & hours! Hehehe. Hwaiting, Dara!!! Can't wait to see what you have in store for us next! 👑💖
I love how her essence is originally Pinay forreal and she speaks so well Konglish!! ❤ love 2NE1 forever and also her talaga! And love hearing her side of story ahh 😱
Love reading the comments from fans and non fans. She is trully an inspiration. Always making the impossible, possible. She may look weak on the outside but tough on the inside. A true warrior. Thank you DIVE for inviting her. Her voice is so lovely to the ears. Wish she could have a podcast too.
i am a proud Daraling ❤ Im so happy for Dara bec she’s now facing / doing bigger things alone and (is) doing a great job! 🥹 Whatever happens, I’ll be here for you, our Dara Dara❤ Thanks Eric for having her as a guest. ❤❤❤
We miss your performance alot, Sandara~unnie!!! Been waiting for this interview to happen, we love you to this day. Thank you for embracing the Philippines, and treating it as your second home. The younger generations of K-Pop looks up to you so much, more than you think alot. Hwaiting and Mahal na mahal ka namin!!! 🇵🇭
All this time akala ko sobrang swerte lang niya kaya nakukuha niya lahat ng gusto niya, not knowing na grabe pala ang effort na binibigay niya, na siya pala ang gumagawa ng paraan para magkaroon siya ng opportunity. Mas lalo ko siyang hinangaan ngayon. Grabe ka Dara. You are amazing.
Thank you DaeBak and Eric for guesting my Idol. #krungy21 #daraxxi.. #Sandara... You are my inspiration, my idol, and the reason I keep pushing forward.” “You have taught me to believe in myself and never give up on my dreams.” “Your talent is unmatched, and I strive to reach that level of excellence.” “You have shown me that hard work and dedication can lead to extraordinary success. We love you from #ph
Thank you eric through this video we have a glimpse of dara's past especially during her trainee days.. how i admire her for being humble, remain grounded and she never forget those people who helped her.. and how she always see the goodness of the person..
I’m only 14 mins in so far but I’m so happy… thank you so much for asking her personal questions… she’s always so so nice and always tries to make focus on other people instead of herself, to be polite, I can’t wait to learn more about her during this episode ❤❤❤

Fun fact: Even grannies in far-flung provinces/areas in the Philippines knew Sandara Park. They might not know kpop, but they knw Sandara 😅❤

It's so cute how Dara speaks English with a slight Filipino accent rather than a Korean one. Actually I would love to see an Eric-Dara collab.
Dara is meant to be a star. Imagine being a big star in Philippines, came to Korea and became a part of a legendary girl group, 2NE1.
i cried while watching this interview! i got into kpop because of Sandara and i really really love her and 2ne1!
thank u so much Eric for having her on your show!
sa iyo pa rin talaga ako uuwi dara!
I just loooove how Dara takes pride living in the Philippines and knowing Tagalog. ❤

Dara and her never changing visual should be studied. This woman is incredibly adorable and gorgeous. 👸🏻🥰✨
A lot of koreans included celebs until now couldn't believed that dara is really a big star in the Philippines. Her experience and struggles during SCQ and pre 2NE1 really turned her into a diamond she is now. Excited for her next album.
that Tenacity, gurll! Never back down! and look at her now. still in the limelight! the girl who almost failed to debut now becomes the most active out of the four all these years. love u bigtime, Dara! 😢😢😢
Thank you Eric Nam for allowing our Queen Dara to enunciate her self-esteem...boost out her self-confidence. Fighting!!👏👏👏

Love reading the comments from fans and non fans. She is trully an inspiration. Always making the impossible, possible. She may look weak on the outside but tough on the inside. A true warrior.

All this time akala ko sobrang swerte lang niya kaya nakukuha niya lahat ng gusto niya, not knowing na grabe pala ang effort na binibigay niya, na siya pala ang gumagawa ng paraan para magkaroon siya ng opportunity. Mas lalo ko siyang hinangaan ngayon. Grabe ka Dara. You are amazing.
Everything that Sandara said is true. She is really a superstar in Philippines. She is still famous up to now.
It's so amazing hearing you guys switch from english to korean. Love your conversation, so well thought and natural. ♥♥♥

Dara can go anywhere in the Philippines and still people will recognize her. That’s how famous she is until now
I constantly remind myself that this woman and I were born in 1984. But look at her, she just ages gracefully.
