Steve, I changed the batteries in my R0687300 remote. Now when I power it up, it cycles between waiting and connecting, but never connects. I tried to follow the instructions on my remote to change the channel at the transceiver but it will not move past the learn mode screen on the remote, so it seems they aren’t communicating. Any suggestions? I have hit the reset button on the transceiver, but I still can’t get them to connect with each other.

Make sure the learn mode is selected on the antenna. You will have to open it up and flip the switch. The. Try it again. If it still doesn’t work, you may have to replace it. Keep in mind that the new remotes don’t pair with old antennas. So if you get a new remote. Get the antenna too.

Hey do you know if we can purchase a replacement handheld remote? We purchased a house and it has a Jandy r0686300 antenna but the previous seller didn’t leave a remote

Double check that it is the antenna for a pda and not the newer wifi system iq2.0 or is 3.0.
If it’s for the wifi system then you can connect it to your phone.

If it is indeed a pda, you can get a remote on Amazon.

Unfortunately the remote is almost as much as the kit.

Wow very expensive for just the remote. I downloaded iAquaLink and went to my WiFi settings and don’t see the system so assuming it’s RF to a PDA and not WiFi. Is there an easy way to add WiFi to it? Or better getting a professional to install. Not sure if it’s cheaper to just go that route out by the handheld and be done with it

@@jsmmao take a look at the antenna, if it is the wifi, you will see IQ2.0 or IQ3.0 otherwise it’s the pda antenna. Then it’s whichever way you want to go. Both systems wifi or pda are about the same price. Installation is as simple and mounting the antenna to the wall, plugging it in to the pc board and then connecting to the device. Not to difficult at all.

Steve, my Husband and I are pretty handy. We'd hate to buy a whole new set up if we can repair the old one. We suspect moisture problem and just want to open up the remote and dry it out. I've done this with numerous electronics and brought them back to life. HOW IN THE BLOODY HELL do you bust into a JANDY remote? It's almost like it's dipped into some sort of alien polymer. Area 51's got nothing on Jandy, I'll tell you what. Really, where is the secret screw or clip? Any hint or help would be appreciated, good day sir!

I love your spirit. I think you may be on to something with the moisture. Unfortunately, I have not taken one apart yet, so I’m not any help. As I think about it, there may be screws under and rubber pads or inside the battery compartment. If you figure it out, post it back here. The info may help someone else.
      Thanks for sharing

WooHoo! This thing's sealed up like a duck's ass. I found the point of entry at the bottom. There was much carnage as bits of plastic and alien goo were stripped from the lifeless electronica. 2 bandaids and 4 whiskeys later...I was in! I observed water and corrosion where the power button relay lay on the pcb. I used alcohol (rubbing, not whiskey) on a qtip. I was dismayed when I put the batteries in and could get nothing. HERE'S THE TRICK. The battery compartment door must be on for it to power up. I almost gave up but tried that, as $700 was on the line here. I believe I heard angels singing when I pushed the "on" button and that shit lit right up. This thing is no longer water proof of course, so Imma put it in a ziploc bag and call it done. Thanks Pooldude. Hope you can make some sense and maybe a few bucks with my adventure! @@Pool-guy
