I'd love to see you use some of the laundry day items with the cottage pack and the country kit! The idea of a clothesline and wash bucket fits the farm vibe.
when the pack first announced: 8/10 after seeing the early access videos: 15/10 I used to visit my Grandma's house and helped her with her chickens and ducks and plants that's why I'm excited with cottage living! My Grandma's gone now but gotta live that good memories I got!

A lot of farmers paint commercial images on their barns for money so white is a better background. In response to your question, I was really excited about this pack and preordered it as soon as it was available. NOW now I am impatient for it LOL

I would absolutely LOVE to see you do a garden/farm shop. My sim will be a homesteader who will one day own her own little shop where she can sell her goods. ❤️
This is so cute and pretty accurate. As a farm girl, we had a big barn for the horses and sheep in the back and then a small barn to the side of the big barn for the chicken coup (I wish they had given us wire fence for chicken runs) and then our garden was on the other side of the barn fenced in. I can’t wait to download this

But ever since the content ban lifted and I've been able to watch gameplay and builds and everything I've decided to get it in a bundle along with DHD and Paranormal because it looks really well developed, from concept, CAS, BB to even townies and relationships... it's just refreshing to see the effort EA put in and THAT makes me excited for it

The Farm is stunning and so realistic with the terrain tool..... I am from Texas so I know what its like to live on a farm.... In summers I would go to my grandmothers farm and yes she put me to work She had Hens Roosters Chicks Horses Cows Donkeys and Pigs Now when you collect eggs from the hen house your going to get pecked if they are in the coop when you go in they don't seem to like you getting their eggs LOLLL We fed the chickens hens rooster dry corn the worst was going in the pig pen using waders cuz you could imagine what was in there LOLL I would go with my grandfather to feed the Horses Cows Donkeys Hay in the back of his truck and rack it out to them ... He also had someone come and put out the huge bails of hay I would help him put "lathe" on the livestock where they were eaten up by ticks and horseflies yes nasty we had to pick all the big ticks off of them and groom them -- 200 Acres of land with 3 fishing ponds a deep creek running through where I would swim and had a swing off a limb to swing and jump in the creek -The Garden was huge Veggies Watermelon lots of them potatoes where you had to dig in the ground to get them.... lots of peas where you had to shell them and I hated that you would bruise up your fingers and if you were shelling purple hull peas your fingers would turn purple for a few days LOLLLL I crocheted with My Grandmother & We made pot holders on this homemade board with nails in it to guide you -- We called the fridge an Icebox it was old that's just what they called them back then LOLLL so there ya go if you ever read this that's farm life -- Oh and I would go to the "Sell Barn" where they sold livestock and my grandparents would big on livestock or sell theirs there I loveddddddd the country living I miss it

I grew up on my grandparents farm… they lived on the hill and we lived in a house at the bottom where the barns were. We had crops on the hill as well as down below the other buildings (lower fields where there was also a creek that flooded every spring - fertile soil) ) … this reminded me of my childhood so thanks for building it
the exterior is so nice on this build, but i can't get over how unnecessarily large the kitchen is 😭 especially compared to the bedroom spaces...i'll just gaze lovingly at the landscaping LOL
It would be nice if they could make a butler option to make him a farm hand instead. Edit: This is amazing and is going to be my "goal house" for when I get the pack and do a rags to riches.
For Norwegian farms this Isn't accurate no.. We have large barns (often White and Red) , Brown lafted (an acuall log shed😅) "stabbur" kinda like a Food storing shed.. The main House and maybee a separate Garage. And in that Food shed. U usually deco rate for the "barn / Farm santa" Comes to Stay to tenden the animals during xmas
The only thing that makes this build inaccurate is that the cattle would be fenced off from the crops they are notorious of demolishing saplings and plants
I would love to see a build with this pack and Eco Lifestyle! It would be really cool to do some kind of “eco farm” with solar panels and windmills

Yes I'll build every day but terrain tools are my enemy but this pack is making me open to using them
