One of my most favourite places and where I found my very first piece of lilac sea glass. Had some amazing little finds here and so much glass and amazing stones. I walk this one a few times a month and my little dogs love this shore. The walk down to it is beautiful also, could spend hours at this spot.
@Scottish Mudlarking if you walk along the pathway beside the road heading towards the bridge you'll come across a stile. If you cross over there and head down the path in the field it takes you out really close to the bridge. Found some amazing stones and chunks of what I think might be barite. I love the sounds of the water and stones when walking along that shore line. X
The Sesame Street comment earlier, episode 847 was banned for over 45 years has surfaced! Yes, the count with the funny laugh AR, AR , AR , AR ! And the Jazzy Spies!
We missed the beach so much !! We will return to the dumps but in Spring and less frequently :) The lighthouse is such a lovely and peaceful place to be ! Thanks ever so much Sissi! x

I’m amazed that Nicole was able to drill them.

Lovely glass pieces! I think they should rename that beach to Jasper beach! You have red, orange, green, yellow brown and purple Jasper there and agatized jasper as well and some magnificent Brecciated jaspers! There are a lot of red agates there and orange..wow I would love the walk a lot the beach there, I thought I seen Dolomite stones varieties as well. What a Gemstone /sea glass heaven! :)

Nickname the agates AGGIES - with the smarties (M) an (F) and the letter(G) just like SESAME STREET ! An arrowhead piece of jewellery then Craig just I'd finished typing said ....a pendant, beat me to it! The first week of 2023 nearly over, the Alps countries have had weird weather!!

Name of the lighthouse please. I'd love to look it up and date it. A lot here in Washington state. We also have tons of agate that wash in and out of the coastline. Best time to hunt here is in March after the huge storms. Blessings

The agate you are collecting looks mostly like chert. Hope this helps
There is def Jasper there from the chert family and maybe the odd flint too, but the place is famous for its agates :)

The heart shape at 9:35 mark was put right under a jasper-agate... ~ The piece at the 22:29 mark looks like red jasper with quartz on top..
