The single was at first released with 10 copies being pressed to fish for a label at the time. Later it was picked up by ID&T in the Netherlands and got a 100 copy white label pressing. Unfortunately it was unable to get an official release due to the sample of the Oletta Adams vocals not getting cleared for use. It's a shame this single got as far as a white label only release, it was such a beautiful cover from the Trance era of Dance music.
SuperHns Not sure if Houston did a cover of the original, but I believe the original is Brenda Russell - Get Here, iirc. Now that I think about it, idk if it was Adams or Russell's voice here lol. Either way, sounds really great =)
The sample in this remix is definitely from Oleta Adams' version. Russell's original is in a higher key and Adam's voice is also far deeper than Russel's voice and it's the former we can hear being used in this remix.
