One thing I don't love about my current eufy S1 Pro is that you just can't put it on another floor without the dock and have it vacuum. It wants the dock. Given people have multi-floor homes, can you possibly add to future reviews whether the robot vac allows you to put it on another floor without the dock and have it run effectively? (obviously, it would alert the user if it needs to empty, add water, etc and you could pick it up and take it back.) We just can't justify a robot vac for every floor! We can barely afford one! Thanks @Jamie. Amazing content as always.
I really like how it still has a spinning lidar which can go in and out for cleaning in tight spaces. Spinning lidar will always be better than solid state.
crazy how fast these models get pushed out might juts hold off until the robotic arm one drops. I 've only had my x40 for about 8 months now and its great. WOuld hate to get sucked into getting a new x50
Honestly I don't think the robot arm will be such a killer feature for a higher price. The X 50 Ultra already have everything what you need for a good cleaning. I think I will upgrade from my Roborock S7.
Yes. Most if not all new models with water tanks are capable of being hooked with the plumbing set. So Dreame and Mova are more flexible than Roborock products by default.
Jamie the carpet test is a bit too easy. Rice or whatever it is you use offers little resistance. Try and a piece of cotton thread on a carpet, or some fluff. Neither my X40 or L40 can pick up some cotton from a carpet. Dyson gets it with one pass.
Happy new Year 🤗 Can you please give the Dreame X50 as a give away, away after the testing period? 😁 Maybe for a german Channel supporter who s the first writing your channel name backwards: tseB lennahc eimaJ swerdnA 😅✌️ (I would pay the shipping costs 👌😅✌️) Have a nice day and thanks for testing, making the videos and inform us vacuum robo nerds 🤗
Courageous. We can be very happy that this channel tests almost every robot. Robots are expensive and adsense is... well just adsense. As our hero is being objective i doubt he gets paid additionally by the companies. So please dont ruin our honest and objective reviews by requesting something as absurd as a giveaway. Be glad you get a review by every robot
@@jamie.andrews D-shape front with full width mop roller + vacuum ala Eufy S1 and Dyson 360 makes so much sense for future robot design. Combine with bagless and a good base like S1/Curve and it will sell like popsicles.
@@Sturmbutcher I believe you. I just don't understand why mop spinning in one direction is "incredible" and mop spinning in another direction is "meh" 🤷
Looking forward for a performance comparison with the roborock saros 10r.
This. ☝

Just pre-ordered. Have 2 x40s.
Couldn't resist the early bird price.
The dual brush was a huge a necessary upgrade. My robots did well with them.
ive been WAITING for this one

You can do this now with many robot vacuums including this one. I am not sure why Eufy does not allow this.
@@jamie.andrews probably has to do with their on-board washing mop with higher needs of fresh water loading and offloading of greywater.
You can do it by first running a wash cycle on the dock and then moving to the other floor.
I look forward to see the deep carpet cleaning results

The robotic arm model will be based on the X50 by the looks of it.

I have a few L20, working as expected, so I'll wait for the L70 or later. By then, it will just fly to the first floor or something like that..
Does it actually use the brush on carpets adhd I think it needs 2 front brushes
Not sure yet. Testing begins soon.
Where did you get the dreame x50 and what is the price?
¡Gracias!

Stupid question: Does Dreame offer a plumbing hook up option like my S8 max V ultra? I love that feature and consider it a necessity.
Yes they do, pus take a look at the X40 Master.

Ahhhh I’m still considering buying the X40 Ultra and now they drop this 😅

I agree or maybe increase the number of grams of rice since currently almost all of your vacuums are getting 90 to 95%
Dyson has robot?

@tonifonseca9178 it is the only one that vacuums like a vacuum.

Spinning roller mop works better than spinning disc mop?
@GenesisMuseum yep, look at what eufy did with the S1 pro, the results are incredible
