Awesome!! It wasn't as bad a drive as we thought it would be. It was long, but we made lots of stops, and the scenery was actually beautiful. It would be even nicer with the changing leaves.
Great start to the NYC series! Loved the scenic drive and pit stops. I’m heading out on a cruise from NYC in about 6 weeks, so I’m excited to see more of your adventures! Safe travels
New York is a very large and beautiful city, incredibly well-organized. I really enjoyed the High Line pedestrian path, and I would love to see something like that here in Europe, as major cities could truly benefit from it.
Fun driving out there! I hope your tyre doesn't give you more problems along the way. The bridge before the border looked amazing as the one at Manhattan. Driving into New York must be a challenge. Have fun! I was there in May. Loved it! 😊
Hey you guys! 🙌. This road trip mirrors our New Hampshire trip. We got up at 5am. And off we went. New York seems interesting we will be soon going down to Lancaster PA. Its all about the Amish down there. 🌼 Gotta say nothing about the 🍩 donuts. BUT. Our experience was different where Dunkin Donuts had that special magic. 😆😆🎖️🤷♀️
Talk about a long drive. I think the breakfast sandwiches are the only thing I go to McDonalds nowadays. Upstate New York is one of my favorite places on the East Coast to drive through. The mountains, lakes and colors during the fall for me when I leave Maine in November. Of course had to hit a brewery. NYC is such a jungle. Great food in NYC though. Looking forward to the cruise.
Wow, you guys got up at 4am?! You guys really were on a mission! So do you leave your car at the hotel valet the duration of your cruise? How does that work?
There’s nothing like a road trip! Did you encounter much traffic when you approached NYC? And oh gosh, my nieces love those munchkins from Dunkin’. And my brother just loves Dunkin’ in general 😂. Oh gosh, when I visited the 9/11 memorial, it was really heavy for me. I don’t think I could go back. But it is really pretty during the night time!
We are east of Toronto so it just made more sense. Would have added almost an hour if we went through Niagara way not to mention any traffic we'd encounter.
What's the longest road trip you've taken? To date, this was the furthest we've driven all on one day - and surprisingly, we had a great time!
Calgary AB to Saint John NB, 3 weeks over this summer. Also drove basically 28 hours straight home from Dawson City.
Ok that's a pretty epic drive. We enjoyed this trip so have plans to do some bigger road trips in the coming years.
Yes. Gotta love Vermont and New Hampshire are our two trips.
@@HopeLaFleur1975 sounds awesome 👌
Fun drive! Lots of beautiful stuff to see along the way!
Yes, next time we need to stop to enjoy the scenery a bit more!
The timing of this video is so perfect! I haven’t been to New York since 2003 and have been bugging the fam to drive down next month!

@@HopeLaFleur1975 I think we will make a similar trip again one day and stop in some different states and see other attractions
@@TheAverageTouristwell we are old geezers. 😂But highly recommended the scenery and views in those States. Can’t wait to see your New York trip👍🙌

Interesting choice to drive via Kingston and avoid Buffalo/Niagra region

Tim bits are better than munchkins
