    This is what Southside was like back in the day. Whole neighborhood knew everyone family. Everybody looked out for everybody. And loyalty and respect was taught and passed down. Yayo is definitely from that era.

    • @SmurffNationn
      @SmurffNationn 2 года назад +6

      Those same values are in all of Yayo, Banks, and 50’s raps- looking out for your friends and family, respect, loyalty, brotherhood, etc. It’s why G-Unit transcended cultural boundaries and language barriers worldwide. Fans got hooked in on the dope beats and presentation, but kept the tracks on repeat for years b/c of the substance and lyricism. The new generation of rap tends to lack the same level of substance and values - the raps are more nihilistic, hedonistic, transient - so there aren’t as many global superstars. There’s a reason we all still talk about Pac/Nas/Big/Wu-Tang/Em/G-Unit/Jay-Z etc. today and why people want to see Yayo in Vlad interviews. He’s an OG and this gen needs one

    Yayo knows his role. Simple and plan. Not every one can be the general. You have to have soldiers. As long as the general is taking care of his soldiers they will be loyal. 50 takes care of those who know their role and don't over step their boundaries.

    Vlad gets so excited when everything comes to talking about money and investments, it beats the whole purpose of morality first over money. Of course money and investment is part of life, but we all need to work on morality first with money being secondary.

    Faaaaaaaacts. People always use to trip out on me because I was like this. I would NEVER talk to or be alone with my friends gilrfriends or wives when my friend wasn't there. I wouldn't give them a ride no where with just me and them.
    One time even I drove my two good friends and one of there girlfriends to get beer going to a party and my two friends ran in real quick and so I even got out the car and sat pin the curb in the parking just so I wasn't in the same enclosed space with my friends girl and some sort or misunderstanding happens.
    Damn yo Yayo speaking FACTS. I never grab no food out my boys pantry/fridge without asking or ever walk into no ones house unless they let me in/ grant permission by opening the door or yelling "come in or something. My boys mom still laughs at me for that

    This caption is the biggest misconception. “50 does more for his artist than Jay-Z”
    Jay taught his guys how to fish. 50 gave his guys fish. Jay put his dudes in position to where they had they own record label, clothing line, movies, cartoons. 50 had G-Unit members living in his house, driving his car, wearing his clothing line. To each it’s own tho.
