The Promo and the Counter Charger from Set 5 are the only Dolls worth adding in terms of support. The promo can get you persona rides and any missing doll, while the counter charger gives you more resource that you use a lot. This video was also recorded before Dionuu but they just slapped the name Direful on her shes not really meant for this deck.
@@immortal_blank I also think the new Doll Counter Charger when used will make the deck cheaper than the Counter Charger cat and the same name Direful Doll for easy sreach. Besides that, Doll Counter Charger has quite a few flaws.
@@immortal_blank I am a player from the early days of V Vanguard, now I just came back to play Vanguard and your videos are very helpful for me to learn.
Would love to know what the priority is when guarding from bind if the opponent has a limited number of attacks, you mentioned to get things out of bind whenever possible and leaving only triggers in there, also what do I want to target in the drop to put into soul with Liberata when she's placed on GC, sometimes my cycle bricks and I know that somewhere in my cycle, I i chose wrong targets to cycle.
Great questions! Priority of Guarding can be broken into 2 different modes Survive and Set Up. In survive priortize the smallest amount of shield needed to block ALL attacks. Example if youre being attacked by a 33k rearguard use a 5k card from bind to make it 10k in guard, and 1 trigger (15k) from hand. That saves you the bigger guards for when things get bigger later in the turn or further helps if you opponent hits a trigger. With Set up its a little more harder to give you a "correct line" to follow and ties into more of your what to target in drop. But ill try my best. Liberata should always be one of the last cards or directly after using Provvidenza. Cause at all times try to get provvidenza and a Pelagia in soul. If you have a provvidenza add a Pelagia and vise versa. Then just follow Swing with Prov support by Pel to add liberata and 1 other doll back to soul and then use prov to call a lib that gets you another doll back most likely another Lib. By looping this youre always getting back 3 dolls back from drop. If you DONT have a persoa ride when the promo comes out you'll priotize her over Griselda, and vise versa cause if you have a persona ride use Griselda youre now swinging 28k unsupported with 3 drives. Of course it varies from games depending on your draws but its always been if youre missing it in soul get it there with Pelagia, call it out with Provvidenza, use Liberata to set up next turn TLDR- Try to always recreate board on 22:00 just replace sparda with serenella Hopefully this helped you a little more
@@immortal_blank Thank you for the valuable insight, you mentioned hardest matchups being welstra and Lascaria, which is the 2 main decks that my friends play, was wondering why I had a hard time piloting dolls vs them
This was recorded/edited before her announcement. That being said you dont want to play her in dolls mainly cause you dont play consistent orders in dolls OR have a consistent way to ensure your opponent has 1 or fewer reguards. So with the fact you cannot loop her as shes not a direful doll either, she's not designed for the deck.
Praise be dolls 🙏 Great guide, even a veteran doll player has new things to learn
Amazing content!
why don't you add new support cards for direful doll to the deck, but only add promo card direful doll? thanks for your great video
