Thanks for watching and your comment. We love that tractor, it does exactly what we need and has a cool factor that is unparalleled, in our opinion anyway. Have a great day and be safe!

Great find! Love our 1086, we use it on a 750bu grain cart and 15' bat wing mower. You will have plenty of power on your 10' mower!

Probably a common key like a CH751 that works on many things. Cool tractor.

good video they are really good tractors if A/C is really cold it still has R12 in it. the front end will be harder to widen out than rear. we have a massy tractor that had to buy new tie rods to change old one were rusted solid. keep sparying every thing that needs to be moved and good luck. take care be safe and well.

The 1086 had a vent tube that comes out by the oil pan. You don't have to pull the oil cap to check for blow-by.

Awesome! Thanks for watching and your comment! I saw that tube wasn’t sure about it though. This is the first big tractor I’ve had so appreciate the tip and any other advice people who have been around or know them have! We love that old tractor! Thanks again! Have a great day and be safe!

@@CopperBarnHomestead All you have to do is look by the frame you'll see it when it's running. It's going to have a little blow-by.

We had a 1486 for 25yrs. Learn how to correctly use the TA. NEVER, and I mean NEVER throw the TA down if you’re running wide open. Dad taught us how to use it correctly and never had to replace it. Our hired hand was fired on the spot the second time my dad caught him doing this.

Thanks for watching and your comment. I was told the TA works on this tractor but I need to read the manual on it. I will keep your advice in mind as well. Thanks again, have a great day and be safe!
