Phil, the man who crawled thru 500 yards of orange slop and came out clean on the other side.
Yeah because he walked through the water again. That orange goo clean off quick.
You don't want to interrupt that porcupine just leave him where he's at !! Couldn't do it crawling through that orange slop , Reminds me of The Shawshank Redemption !! I ask myself every time what are you doing , some thing you like !! Thanks for the adventure, stay safe 👀 !!
I’d be concerned about happening upon a black bear and family 🤔
1:50 Mike says the foundation for a small hoist.
Beware of the long wall mine on RT66 in Parks Twp, Radioactive waste was buried above it and it leaches into the mine water which dump into the Kiskiminetas River. I looked for property in the area about 20 years ago. The legacy of a plutonium fuel factory lies above.
Jeez talk about things our government could be focusing on that is true environmentally critical versus climate change nonsense....I mean a lil radiated water is fine like flavoring eh? Good grief talk about wasting tax dollars and ignoring real issues to screw with stupid woke crap that nobody cares for. 🤡
All that ochre, reminds me of our mines :) Nice gobbing (deads as we call them).
I live in Jefferson county, within a mile of my house there are at least 5 coal mines and most have collapsed from the strip mines around them.
Phil, you should “dye” white t-shirts in that orange mud and sell them! Like that famous place does with their mud color shirts!
"I hate this orange slop" *yet keeps proceeding*
Was truly a mess of a cave but ya got balls Phil
given the muck at front, probably wouldnt take much to cut a quick drainage ditch in on that one
That looked pretty miserable. Thanks for putting the boots to the muck to get er' done bro. Were the quarters very old?
No the newest was 2020. Funny enough I believe the person who left them is someone I know
It's been so long since I was told about it (high school I think) but, I remember something about leaving a coin or coins of the year you explore something. Its to kinda of give an idea of when the last person to explore that was there.
Nice colorful exploration. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I miss Pennsylvania very much when it comes to exploration. Florida is the worst place to move to if you're into exploring. Law enforcement is a nightmare, 2 party concent for video, trespassers can be shot.
I live in Florida, and you can't shoot trespassers, unless you own a backhoe.
Whole area is a complete mystery. Looks like everything was done very proper though.
As Rod 'the Man' Rooter on the DEVO video said "The things I do for Big Entertainment."
Love this channel.
not much coal and lots of rock so they quit!!!!!!!!!
I’m in Michigan, but I love your content! Exploring and sharing, great! Keep it up!
It's like watching survivor man!
I was in a cave here in the Ozarks right around when this was uploaded, lol. Only went in around fifty yards because it was a little chilly and there’s a stream you have to walk down to get deeper. Saw some great rock formations and a cool salamander though!
I would have said nix to that mine, Phil. Jeez, man, determination! Fascinating, though. I would never see things like this if you didn't post them.
Great video from Steve Manning here in catlettsburg Kentucky 😊
Moving like a tactical sasquatch through the woods.😅 but even a squatch wouldn't live in that sloppy hole! Thanks for the tour anyways Phil; Can't wait to see that coal cart next week!
I've met alot of women that i could say the same title about them
lol I bet 😆
Wasn’t that a hedgehog? - big old boy too.
Love the theatrics.
Nope not with being claustrophobic Is that water good to drink before it gets all messed up or does it have to be filtered
Oppermans cave is wild has a waterfall at the end coming down through the ceiling
What is the meaning of coins or playing cards left in old abandoned mines
Orange you glad you're out of there?
🙄 lol yep
Phil,at the risk of many boos,. your title for video sounds like a dating story gone wrong, lol.❤
😬 that's funny lol
Thanks for the great vids brother and your time and effort. My Dad was a blaster at the quarry in Hanover Pa. And we got to down there (1970s). This takes me back. How old do you think that mine was?
I think this one was somewhere between 1920-1930. Unfortunately there s no maps or records
Yeah! Caught this in only 16 minutes! Cool video.
Dissapointed you didn't edit a fart noise into 9:30 I was waiting for it.
Should have brought your fishing pole Phil...
U look like bigfoot walking around there .
The wood looks like a good hunting blind
That orange muck just has your name plastered all over it. Take care.
His name is Rusty Muck? Lol
Just kidding!
@@StirlingLighthouse LOL- anything is possible🙂 I still see visions of that orange mucky yucky pit Phil crawled through. I thought he was going to disappear.
Sure seems like they leave a lot of coal unmined in a lot of the places you explore. Is the area you explore, anthracite or bituminous?
This is anthracite. Seemed like a small operation with several bootleg mines
Imagine going to work every day in this Shit. This is when Men were Men!. Is he going in there by himself. That's just a big No No for me.
They sent children into these mines. My father's father went in at 10. My mother's grandfather's (related +1)...don't know when they went down in those mines, but both were dead from black lung by 55.
Mud mess 2024
Pork U Mine
Let's Go!🎉
Icky!
no Closed Caption bummer 🤔😔
CC is working on my end
What Phil says as he's crawling through toxic orange muck.
It's all about the views and 👍
Is the orange slop toxic? 😮
I'm sure it's not too healthy, but not toxic
Another awesome video, my friend! Looks like an awesome find! Thanks for sharing!
Thanke for explore they all cant be perect but you stayed with it see you in the next one.
Looks like you are between Hazleton and Schuylkill county.
I'm up a bit north of that
Definately between New Jersey and Ohio
Another video from the round mound of the underground
Next weeks video looks like it’ll be awesome🍻
The dramatic footage was great!!
Wanted to ask if you have ever encountered a mine phenomenon I've heard of.... "floor HEAVE"? Where the floor can be forced upward?
It's very probable I have but wasn't aware of it
Very nice! Thank you for going
Orange man bad Orange man bad 😂
I see what you did there
@@AmazingPennsylvania Do you see. Let me find out you're a Psyop. 😆
Awesome job!
Great video.
Well the gob walls hand me thinking it was going to turn into a banger. But the toxic orange sludge was more like that mine had a rough night after eating to much Taco Bell.. should have brought it the bucket.
lol that's disgustingly hilarious
The inside of my book bag is forever stained from "the orange". And I've washed it numerous times lol
Yeah that orange cake batter is pretty rich lol
Awww a hedgehog overwintering 🎉🎉🎉
that looks like an old copper mine, thats copper clay your walking around in.
Acid mine drainage. The area is full of it and it runs into the river. Smells horid!
Hell yeah💪🏻
😱 Yikes lol
Looks like you need to stop at a Car Wash on the way Home, Man that was sloppy !!
I frequently do go right to the car wash!
That site @11:24 looked like a tropical paradise compared to what you crawled out of.
Beautiful ending to this video.
"We are not running it up the middle" hahaha. This was a top video. Loved every minute.
@@qldabandonedmines thanks my friend!
