On a straight road, riding with people determined to keep their license? Probably. Anywhere else? BIG nope. Not the fault of the Vulcan. It was never intended to be that kind of a bike. It is a lay back bike for relaxed riding. It is heavy, lacks power, and scrapes way too early. Push it too hard and you will end up in a ditch!
Your bike sounds good if that’s a stock exhaust. I have the custom Vulcan 900 with Vance & Hines staggered and it can be rather loud even after I wrapped the baffles. An all around nice bike bike in my view.
The Vulcan S has a little bit more power and weighs less. It should go a little faster. The Vulcan S has a slightly detuned Ninja 650 engine. I will say those the 900 does sound a lot better though
Vulcan S is faster than the 900, reason is the bikes lighter and has a 650 parallel twin engine which enables more horsepower at high rpm, I think its 67 HP at 7,500 rpm & 46.5 ft lbs of torque at 6,600 rpm Vulcan 900 gets 49.62 HP at 5,700 rpm & 57.5 ft lbs of torque at 3,700 RPM
Vulcan S has the Ninja 650 engine, parallel twin. I seen it get to 120mph. One of the faster mid sized cruisers out there. Vulcan 900 would be excellent if it had a 6th gear.
Sure it can keep up with sport bikes and in comfort. Very nice.
900 is a good size cc bike
And with only 50 HP I’d say it moves very very well
is it a classic or a custom vulcan?
He is riding a Custom
Nice Ride. Vulcan 900 Custom owner myself. 24 degree lean will make your pegs touch. Ride safe brother.

What other non harley's look nice and are fast? I just sold my shadow 750, looking to get something faster
I’d rather be riding slower and enjoying the view.

My wife rides the volcan s 650 it seems to be snappier off the line than my 900 c....side note, mine is still a baby at 100 miles.
Would love to see if a Vulcan S can keep up with the Vulcan 900. That Vulcan 900 sounds great! Looks like it handles pretty good too!

@@Dawgs241 I wouldn’t call the Vulcan S a middleweight cruiser lol it’s light and nimble and speedy
Let me see the speedometer.
