As a mechanic for a Caterpillar Dealer, I can confirm that the tracks are supposed to be yellow. However, they are typically only that way on brand new or rebuilt machines. The paint job was pretty spot on. Some minor interior differences, but pretty close overall.
That must be a fuck ton of fun to work on them big machines!

Got a easy reset option on all the vehicles for trolls thank god lol . Multiplayer is good on construction sim though because all players get a share of the money back into their own saved so there is a incetive to helping others that is something farming sim 22 lacks.
i wouldn't think that construction games would actually be fun to watch, im definitely buying this game
It's predecessor was pretty good, and this looks way better. If you pre-order you get a bit of a discount

Drea, as a Cat D6T operator I can tell you that while it is super fun being an operator it is also super boring most of the time. I use tremble guides and gps to grade large areas so it can get boring staring at that little screen...

to answer the yellow treads question,yes it should be yellow on cat dozers,they come out of the factorys with yellow treads however the treads lose the color with use
I get to operate Cat D10 and D11 dozers at work occasionally, and they are by far my favorite piece of equipment to operate. Such a powerful machine

Bull dozer Operator, nothing else. You don’t drive equipment you operate it. I learned that one the hard way on the job.

I think bulldozer operator, dozer operator or heavy machine(ry) operator are their preferred terms. Driver is a bit minimalist.

Yes drae the tracks are generally yellow on new pieces of equipment and dozers are chock full of blindspots as are many pieces of heavy equipment hence as such many newer pieces in recent years are equipped with camera's to help minimize the blind areas, as well as gps systems which cut down on required experience but they are definitely not a play toy lol
Hey drae I’ll give you a little inside tip on how a “bull dozer contractor or bull dozer driver” (which btw they’re called heavy equipment operator 😉 or simply equipment operator) but any who. When your in a big machine like that you’re not suppose to be looking out in front of itt. You look out the windows where you can see the corner of the blades and that’s how they can see and work 😉😂

You can also dig out a hole with a bulldozer you dig the blade in deep and push the dirt past the yellow line you dig in and it’s a lot faster to 100%

It's a lot more fun when you don't have to bench your trench, or do 1 foot lift backfill. Seriously it sucks being the operator, the excavator, or the special inspector.
