Also it can handle some games in Winlator, switch emulation, it is so amazing, I want to grab the mini so I can play fallout 4, Witcher 3 , mgs 5 phantom pain, Skyrim, GTA 5, and so much more
I badly wanted a steam deck until I found out about the battery life.. now I’m getting the Odin 2. It has steam link so you can still play your steam library on it.
@@tooreosonecup4995 try the anbernic 556 its like 200 bucks cheaper and has a better screen and is more confortable and can stream play ps2 and everything else the odin does but with a much longer battery life and OLED screeen
Depends on what systems you are trying to emulate (because Nintendo is banning websites left and right) - BUT if you’re not talking about Switch emulation - ROMs for most other consoles are pretty easy to find. Buy an SD card and download the ROMs yourself :) “Internet archive” is a good place to start!! Also “Retro Game Corps” is a good channel for learning how to setup these devices.
@@poochiebar it could just be RUclips in general. Half the time my comments get taken down for like no reason at all. (Meanwhile there’s still awful videos that definitely bypass the filters.) this platform kinda sucks. Lol
I’ll try again - here goes! Highly recommend not buying SD cards that are pre-loaded (only because it’s expensive and you might not even get the games you want). I recommend investing in a good handheld device. Miyoo Mini Plus is a good place to start for a cheap one. Odin 2 is a good place to start for an extremely powerful one. Buy the SD cards yourself. Get an SD card reader. Download a program to format the SD card (typically - you want to format to FAT32). There are many places to obtain the ROMs and BIOS themselves. HOWEVER - the most trustworthy by far is “Internet archive”. All of this might sound complicated - but I promise it’s not!!!!! You can look up RUclips videos for basically everything I just said. “Retro Game Corps” has great videos (and a great website) for learning this stuff too. About, idk, 6 months ago? I was brand new to this and had no clue what I was doing. Now? I have SO many handhelds. I have 3DS’s that I’ve hacked myself from scratch. I have a Dolphin Bar on my computer to play Wii games - I’m basically an expert. Lol. It’s tough to learn if you’re brand new - but I promise it’s really not too hard. You got this!
With software like winlator you could even run pc games on devices with the top end of snapdragon chipset.
Can I use that to play the original Half Life and Deus Ex
@@omegamanGXE you can play half life and half life 2 yea, idk about deus ex

Change the titles to the top 5 platforms to play on Odin2. Streaming pc, ps2, emulation, mobile games, and psp.

Why the mini
Wait it plays gta5 from ps3 too?
Gta 5 is not the best option for odin 2. You can launch it, but it's not comfortable to play.
Just ordered mines, hope I get it soon!
When I get a steam deck I’m definitely playing Palworld!! 😅
It's quite a fun game

If you set it to max and disable fans you can use it as a mini griddle! Idk why they didn't advertise that though

Can anyone point me to SD Cards that are preloaded with games? I would load up a card but nowadays that's becoming harder to do out "there"

I'm deciding on either getting the using mini, retroid 4 pro, or wait for a retroid 5. I thought about getting a steam deck but looks too bulky
I like smaller powerful devices. Sd is good but it's too big @Tyler-l5s
So I’m assuming it takes sd card
I think it’s too expensive for what it offers when you can just get a steam deck or rog ally a real handheld pc for $400
Can you change the aspect ratio on ps2/ any emulator on retroarch?
Yes
Yes but not all ps2 and gamecube games will support the widescreen hacks
Only savages play ps2 games stretched like depicted in this video. That wasn’t a widescreen hack.
You don't use retroarch to play ps2 on these devices.
Does it play steam games, not including remote play, and can you get windows on it?
I would also like to know 🤔
no it doesn't
It's not a windows or Linux base device, it's an android device. It can play games that your phone can play.
