I like how Amaya not only confronted Rayla about her leaving Callum, but also gave her advice when she saw Rayla had the same issues she once had.

The writing this season was a huge step up from season 4, even just the dialogue. Love this show, can't wait for next season.

Magic, excitement, comedy, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. I'm glad General Amaya made things right with Rayla after learning how wrong she was and how she treated her two years ago. They both had issues with their past 🎵🎶🎼🌈🌌🌠💫🌟⭐✨🪄🔮🔔🧙‍♂️🧙‍♀️🧙🐲🐉🦄🧌🧞‍♂️🧞🧞‍♀️🧜‍♂️🧜🧜‍♀️🧝🧝‍♀️🧝‍♂️🧚‍♂️🧚🧚‍♀️

Even in the bloodmoon huntress it’s shown that Rayla parents were stronger together when they were leaving

Really? Wow! So The Dragon Prince also respects gays and people with disabilities. This show is truly perfect. “Potential” sure! It had potential and it lived up to it and if anyone says otherwise they’re wrong ❤

Having a mute character that signs is great. I just question the choice to make them a GENERAL WHO HAS TO GIVE RAPID ORDERS OR PEOPLE DIE!!!!

      Who knows?
These kind of shows are strictly for entertainment.
Writers and producers couldn’t care less about anything else.
They count on the fact that common audiences are too dumb to notice details like this.
And the sad thing is they are right to think so.
I mean, it’s a show about dragons for crying out loud.
      Everybody loves dragons.
      Just ask Shenron.
      Or Smaug.
      Or Toothless

There are two things I seriously love about this series number one the inclusiveness of many different people. I’m not just talking about the LGBTQ elements. I’m also talking about the ASL usage and accuracy in the show. Amaya is literally my favorite character in the series. She’s fantastic and she grows as time goes on. I just love what they done with this series. It’s just fantastic. 🥲

They also put in the effort to actually make inclusive characters *characters* instead of boxes to be checked for brownie points. Too often, writers and studios think it's enough to just put them on screen or make them a flawlessly overpowered Mary Sue. It's not. They need to be relatable and have an established personality. Likes, dislikes, hobbies, flaws, passion, and empathy. They need to be *people* .
