That’s a crap, they are nothing but little boys getting paid by dealers in exchange for promoting brand. How come an experienced presenter like max is not telling and or discovering about the weaknesses of this Audi Rs3. I had just bought one and determined that the brake is awful.

The 5 Cylinder Engine is just wonderful! Really weird thing only few cars have it, I‘m so glad Audi makes the RS3 and the TTRS to celebrate it

Only problem up here is that it makes the car about €1.000 more expensive compared the A45 (on top of the price difference between the 2), just for the taxes alone and yearly it adds another +-€250 in taxprice difference. Might not sound much for cars at this price range, but it's a bit of a pain in the ass that you lose it only bc of the 2.5L engine compared to a 2.0L

Did you ever experience a 5 cylinder in real life before? Those engines sound and feel great, especially when every other car has 4 or 6 cylinders. Also, a inline5 is super durable.
It’s because 5 cylinders is an odd number, the engines sound glorious but they are poorly balanced and require expensive parts
The RS3 would be the perfect daily driver for I just love it! I really wish they would bring the Sportback to the US cause I love hatchbacks!

Florian Peter he explained later he had his rear seats down for better exhaust sound. That also lets in road noise more. Lol
Wwoow that engine sounds very much like my old VW Golf V5. This car also got 5 cylinders, so not surprising!

as a motorcycle addict in the past i saw most cars as not fun and slow but these modern cars r killing it...especially this kind of fully stock cars, buy it, ride it - 280km/h...this 1 in sedan blue version and M2, i couldnt make up my mind even if i had the money :) just take both

I've heard it's not uncommon for the RS3's 0-60mph to be recorded as sub 4 seconds which, based off the way it looked like it pulled with launch control, is not surprising lol

Philip if you Play Music while driving the car will slowly turn the Musik up so you dont hear the Wind.

Everyone who reviews this car is "complaining" about the "laggy downshifting with high speed". It's a feature of Audi itself to protect the clutch and the motor from high RPM while its still cold or not at the best temperature. So it's not any software-bug or something like this. It's meant to be in that way.
Others than that- perfect car, would love to get myself one of these one day!!!

Dude, I have the a3 3 door (2014) and that thing is much quieter than a Golf 7 or Merc A, take my word for it

Would you recommend the wider tires at the front? Why? Are there noticeable differences in acceleration, top speed or in curve rides?
wider tires at the front should help to diminish understeer, since audi is prone to understeer as a (design? safety? feature?), my 2 cents. Also having a bit more grip at the front might add to the car being more nimble, and allow the rear to slide out a bit easier (create slight oversteer, while in a turn and abruptly lift foot off gas pedal)
They give you esp problems, i can know, i own an RS 8v with the wider tyre option. And also the windnoise is a problem, already had to replace my inner window system under garantee

Get the R first, experience it for a while and then step up to the RS3
What would you have a new audi rs3 or a 2015 rs6. Cant decide, i like the space and practicality of the rs6 but v8 fuel costs or a fun 2.5cc rs3 with limited rear foot room !! I will only use it on weekends but i also have 2 kids, mrs etc. I think i need to drive a rs6 !! I keep going back to a rs6 !!

Jamie V yep rs6 it is. Last week drove 2014 rs6 at a independant dealer just to get a test drive. Fucking amazing car !! Road presence is unreal, love the sound of a v8 anyway. Now the issue is i want 2015 facelift 1 but its all about the spec. There is so much variation with the spec. Pan roof, dynamic pack, head up display is a must. No more than 30k miles. 50 k budget. I was thinking the new 68 is released in Oct hence get a better deal. But i dont think rs6's really depreciate much after its 3yrs old !! Finding myself looking on autotrader most days 🤣

Yes. The rs2 is about 25-30 years older. The engine of the rs2 isnt an inline 5, its a h6.

It's an option when you buy the car, mine has it but honestly it's probably better to not have it as you can't swap the front and back wheels.
