The reason you weren't able to pounce anything is because you can not pounce modded creatures, and vanilla creatures can get a hide to prevent you from pouncing. Also, the conc was kicking, not pouncing ❤
@SassyKaida5403 I was on today and some of the modded creatures were getting pounced on(including myself, tho it was kinda broken from my view). So I'm guessing they are adjusting them to where they can be pounced on
You can pounce sleeping creatures put the slick feathers hide makes so you cant and pounce dont work on modded creatures yet hope this helps you great video

The jump only works on legit dinos (not modded ones) and some dinos have abilaties like special like of hides that prevent other dinos to grab or jump onto them
as much I have noticed... if opponent is too small, it is modded dino (not uptodate yet) or they have slick hide, they can not be pounced.. sucho has option to get the hide
Hey axe for path of titans there is a skin for people to put on so they can not be pounced on also if its not that it might be cause your not full grown like there is a skin for you that stops sarcos from grabing you
If you wanna pounce and not have to worry about getting grabbed/pounced on. Laten is the boi, Sarco is very fun to play if you have your own babies. Gator dash and grab is the best emergency escape ever!
The pounce probably does only work on specific dinos. I was trying to see if it depends on weight class but judging by what dinos you were able to latch onto, I don't think that's the case and it might just need a bit of tweaking🙂

Creatures with "SLICK HIDE" stop you from pouncing on them, the reason why you died the first time By a sarco because you didn't get the "SLICK HIDE" which stops crocs and other raptors from grabbing and pouncing on you, And you cant do it on modded creatures. Modded Creatures such as Deinosuchus(Modded croc) and Velocciraptor(Modded raptor) CANT do it to you (Grab or pounce) also great video! Cant wait for the croc video! If you also have a chance after the croc video, Can you play as an Andrewsarcus or however you spell it, Basically the Massive Pig :) it's up to you! like I said Good job! Love your effort!
You would have killed that spino if you had the other bite, that bite you had was for bleeding out creatures, if you wanted to kill it quickly you should have gone with the second bite because it stacks 5 times Edit: 21:47

That and the Utahraptor and Velocciraptor cannot pounce and latch nor can the Deinosuchus be able to grab and grapple.

And raptor are to fragile and slower can easily get chased
The dinos might have slick scales, it prevents you from latching on

There’s a hide that prevents you from pouncing onto Dino’s if they have it equipped

You couldn’t pounce on the critters because they had slick hides on idk how the modded creatures are
None of the modded dinos can be pounces on right now, since the mid authors have to update them with points for latching.
It's the hide, some dinosaurs have this hide where you can't jump on it or if you're a sarco clamp on it.

Certain dinos like the sucho, rex, sarco, alio all of slick hide now so they cant be pounced or grabbed by sarcos and raptors

It’s because modded dinosaurs currently aren’t pounce/grab able and some dinosaurs like sucho, rex and spino can equip a pounce resistant hide.

Modded Dino’s can be grabbed by sarcos (I’ve tested it), but they don’t have any animations that go with it and can’t struggle
I hope the modders can make all that work soon, that would be awesome!

Pounce didn't work on spinos, or any modded creatures at the moment, we have to wait until they patch it
