I think half clutch doesn't work in every slope.. depending on the degree, the biting point varies and hence we have to be careful with half clutch itself logic.. Also with full load and power of the engine, car doesn't climb without acceleration.. i do struggle with Ertiga vxi to find the exact biting point and control of vehicle if it has full load.. perhaps S cross diesel has better manouver i think..

Visited phoenix mall velachery on Sunday, parking levels 11, but was easy, I have Altroz DCA and it don't have Hill hold control feature and I found an alternate way to control roll back, TATA should give this important Safety feature as basic to all automatic variants.

Really before two months I'm the beginner after seeing ur videos only gradually i improved myself...now I'm riding thiruvannamalai to chennai alone...without any fear...but I have a doubt on something while driving car 1)sometimes car stopped...when I almost came to 5_10km speed at that point if there is a big speed breakers i change gear to gear 1 car stops I'm using Verna it's ground clearance is low so i can't movie it with 2nd gear so i almost decreases the speed but when light moving i shifted to 2 -1 its stopped ...y it is happening 2)sometimes rpm and speed has reached almost 30 but when I switch to 4 gear when I give acceleration it is slowly moving...nt all the time sometimes only 3) I'm using Verna 6gear...when I park the car I'm struggling more...Bec of the car size.... 4) when I use car brakes it is slowly decreasing then i press the clush gradually decreasing the speed...whether brakes need clutch else we can use only brakes...it will affect clutch plate??? 4)when I use to move heavy slope...my car ground clearance is very low as well as I have to move on that slope...at that time I'm struggling car is pushing back same time I can't accelerate more Bec of ground clearance low...when I accelerate more means car body ll rub on the road..if slowly and gradually move that slope car ll off ..what is the solution for that.... 5) I'm using diesel variant...i drive only two cars tata vista and Verna my car ...I'm almost comfortable with diesel cars...when I start to drive my brother car which is petrol variant...when I take the clutch i can't find the biting point ....clutch is so soft and i can't find the car vibration....it is very slowly moving i need to give acceleration for 1gear itself...but when I use my car I don't need to give acceleration when I starts and release clutch it is moving ..I'm nt comfortable to drive petrol car...Bec of its power...give tips to drive petrol car.... 5)when I drive car avg mileage is 23 but when my brother drives 26....how should I improve...almost I'm driving like him only...but why there is a difference ..he is driving more than 15years...I'm driving a car just two to three months...it is difference between experienced and beginners???? 6)which one is best view to reverse parking ....camera or side mirrors??? I have a small suggestion: I felt that the "Gear Paddle Video Inster Box" - which you have placed on the left bottom corner is a somewhat out of the viewing sight in Full Screen View Mode, so if you can move it on the Top Right Lower Corner (around 5% down from top right video frame of the video) would give a better view of sight and one can see both the Steering Wheel Movement and the Peddle movements together. Does putting handbrake on a slope make the car stand still? Because at one point you said putting handbrake also pulls car slowly back. Please clarify why we put handbrake every time on slope?
Nice video. Boss, my vehicle suddenly turned off while turning in 2nd gear on a slope. Steering wheel got locked and break also stopped working .I lost control then I turned on the vehicle while the car was moving then I got the control back. How to handle such situation and why does this happen? Please let me know
Your steering and brakes are probably hydraulic based. Hydraulic works only when engine is in on condition. Thays why your steering and brakes tightened when your car engine turned off. (in last 5-10 years most of the cars are using electric power steering instead of hydraulic). In such situations jand brakes can of of help. You can turn on the engine to get the power back. Tip - as soon as ur engine died apply clutch and immediately crank the engine to get the controls back immediately. Since u will apply clutch u don't have to change the gear to neutral (this is advanced method. Be careful).

Yes.. while engine off condition as you mention every thing will get locked. Hand brake is the only option to stop the car.
