Armed with Quantum Torpedoes and New Phasers, this is a heavily armed battleship. Will it be able to take on a Klingon Strike Force?
Was never a big fan of Nebula's design, but I have to admit it does look pretty elegant in a Sovereign skin.

Thank you, Lord Badger, for bringing out the Nebula Refit! I like this mod and I think it is does an excellent job with the offensive capability of the ship. But, I think we see the continued difference between the Nebula and true battleships like the Galaxy and Sovereign: The Nebula's armor and shields are a tier below. While the shields are quite good when battling other heavy cruisers, like the Navy Doctrine says, it is only a battleship when it is protected against guns of the caliber it carries, i.e., the Iowa Class has armor strong enough to bounce 16-inch guns. This Nebula has the firepower of a Sovereign, but its shields and armor are not at the same level. Ships with the firepower of a battleship, but armor unable to protect against battleship caliber guns, but usually adequate against all cruiser calibers, are rated as Battlecruisers. Per Naval Doctrine, this Nebula Type II is a proper Battlecruiser! If its shields were about 50% stronger, and it had more armor, it would be a good battleship. Particularly for its size and manning needs it would be very valuable.

The nebula class was my fave ship to have in star trek legacy. i wish they would have added the phaser lance from the galaxy x class as one of the weapons pods. lance and torpedo launchers as well as ablative armor.
@@jkeelsnc to have such a versatile platform in one vessel that can switch roles on a pinch, people would say the sovereign is the best looking but pound for pound the nebula is the most useful.

The Nebula was always a modular design, especially the mission pod, it’s this modular design that makes it one of my favorite Starfleet ship designs.

This s a cool design. I for one do like this. I like it has quantum torpedoes too. I always figured they'd fit those ships with those type of torpedoes. Not surprised you took out the THREE Klingon ships that quickly.
I was surprised you got the Nebula refit. I think you got a lucky shot at the end there.
Oh there were actually TWO Voyager episodes that showed a Nebula class. The other one was from Season 2 episode 5 "Non Sequitur" when Harry Kim was pulled into an alternate reality where he and Tom Paris weren't on Voyager. They broke a "Yellowstone" Runabout that Harry had designed out of spacedock to get Harry back to the proper reality and a Nebula class chased them.
I too like the Nebula class and wish we had gotten more of it. I mean we did get a little bit of it but no like major action such as taking back DS9 or the series finale.
Nebula class has been my favourite for a long time. Really wish I could see it used more. I found this refit to be tasteful - if very slightly overpowered!
I've always liked this ship, with it's fantastic weapons array but now it's even better! A really nice update!

The nebula class always seems to be Starfleet's way of saying, "Look at how powerful a ship we could build if we dedicated the saucer section to being a weapons platform instead of living and multi-role operational spaces."
Stop teasing and build it already. Make it Galaxy Class sized while you are at it.
Problem is even with the armor and quantums, the Nebula's shields were nearly down and the aft one did collapse when you managed not to distribute the damage as evenly on two passes. Of course, that may have resulted from not having boosted power to start out with.
RIP USS Honshu. Destroyed for carrying Gul Dukat. Not really, lol. I assume it was just a random Jem'Hadar attack. But I agree, I wish we saw more of it, and I wish this was Canon. It looks like a really well done refit!
You forgot the nebular class featured in First contact, Generation and in a couple of eps on deep space nine.
Oooh Generations at the end. First Contact? Hmmz, i'm assuming at Sector 001. I'll have to pause and slow down the fight. Supposedly the Millenium Falcon's in it as well 😂
@@RetroBadgerGaming Yep one the ships rescuing the crew of the D and I think there is one in the borg battle at the start of First contact.
The Dita von Teese is a very pretty ship. The more circular saucer looks really nice, as does the Sovereign style bridge/citadel armour. But it is still definitely a Nebula's descendent.
But crikey, it killed a Negvar? And that phaser array.

Even almost warping to #1O! The new Razar-Class Nebula is absolutely smoking!
Not the same refit as the one from STO would like to see those two versions against eachother! It has over 10 pt launchers in it's tactical pod.
I forgot about this ship. It's a kitbash of WickedZombie45's Mnemosyne Class U.S.S. Titan. i can't remember who did it, but man I forgot all about this ship!! She can kick some major hull.

There were a few Klingon ships added to RE and posted on GameFront recently, and several more in queue to test. 😅
@@MSR-1701 would really love to see some assimilated Klingon ships and that huge Dreadnought from STO.
@@IronWarhorsesFun an assimilated ship pack was just added to Gamefront that has a Vorcha cruiser in it, will need to see if anyone brought in any STO Dreadnoughts
Two shipfulls of Klingons go to Sto-Vo-Kor and the enemy is defeated, what more could a Klingon ask for??
Better looking ship than the Sutherland "refit." Looks smaller, so the bloodied Federation could build more of them, even if it is on the larger side of the vehicle inventory.
The support pylon on which the torpedo pod sits is way too thin.
Not a bad ship design, but the nacelle pylons should attach at the back of the ship under the "tower" and angle forward so the nacelles occupy the same locationm
I like the original version more. But I gotta admit, that sheer firepower is impressive.
Edit: Maybe you can do a RBG Nebula Refit for the Dominion War... Just thinkin
