Your first off most appreciative of the reaction this was my suggestion a little while back. I'm glad you enjoyed and knew you would enjoy. all this talk about Jay-Z can't really spit overrated etc or from people who only heard a handful of songs and probably just didn't like him to begin with anyway..
Jay had a lot of double entender throughout the song not sure if you're familiar with the movie face off but when says Castor Troy you change your face on the bullet change all that for you he's a referencing the movie face off in which the character Castor Troy stole the face of the police officer that was hunting him.
Please check out Biggie NIGGAS BLEED I'm telling you the the storytelling is immaculate, bars flow beat even the hook is hard.

You summed it up perfectly. Some of the older crowd who dislike Jay may have legit reasons lol, the young folks have their opinions because all they heard was "N*ggaz In Paris" and "Empire State of Mind". I was watching this young dude shocked that Em could make a song like "Superman" because he thought all of his music sounded like "Rap God"😂 You may not feel some of their hits, small percentage of their discography, but these guys are held to a certain standard by almost everyone for a reason.

9th Wonder is the producer. He was the person Jay ever saw create a beat on a computer. He was a young producer and playing songs and Jay wasn't feeling any so he broe out his laptop and made this best on the spot using Fruity Loops

The Rat Pack Sam Tap dance bar was about Sammy Davis Jr. Sammy was part of the Rat Pack which was a click of entertainers (Sammy, Frank Sinatra, Peter Lawford, Dean Martin). They would tour and make movies Ocean'e 11) when the were running a train on Ronald Reagan's wife Nancy or getting John Kennedy elected President using their mob ties.
