$1000+ for a Rogue knockoff made in China? Nah. I'll take the real item. And given that I just got a letter from Titan that discussed a major data breach I think I'm good after one purchase from them.
Garage Gym Reviews it’s worth thinking about, for sure! I want a rack with safety straps and numbered uprights. I don’t mind the 4 post since I have weight trees.
I bought my T3 HD a year ago a few months after your comparison vid while it was 30% OFF FOR $293 SHIPPED! I would not pay $1k for a titan rack. I now have a ton of titan products and almost all of them are quirky. The packaging usually sucks, sometimes you don't get what you ordered etc... For $1k I would order either a Fortis or R4 rack from Rogue for just under $1k, I am 6'2 and I have never thought gee I whish my rack was 18" taller. so the height of the rack is not a selling point to me I have 10' cellings' but with the garage door and supports I don't have the room for a rack that tall.
most important things you didn't COVER! do the Rogue 50 cal arms fit on the TITAN rack and how well to they work on the TITAN? Will the Rogue drop in belt squat fit in the TITAN rack. If those two items fit that is a game changer for TITAN
I ordered Titan rack in 90inch tall /36 inches interior and 24 inch extension and received it on two pallets within 5days. I also got the dip attachment, roller cups, multi grip pull-up bar, sandwich Jcups, 8 weight posts, monolift attachments, strap safeties for inside the rack and extended safeties for the front. I can attest that every piece is high quality. The welds look computer welded, the coating is thick and textured and all the attachment fit and function great! I’m glad I cancelled the RM6. I saved over $1,700.00 and haven’t sacrificed function or quality. I really didn’t factor resale value into my decision because I intend to leave to my family when I cannot use it any longer and I’m sure it will last their lifetime too... P.S. if your ever in Orlando and would like to see my setup and maybe do a review for your channel I’d be happy to host you!
Holy crap, I didn't realize you had a RUclips channel. I accidentally found your Instagram page when you featured the Starting Strength Power Rack. I had never seen that rack or your page. That post, alone, made me follow you on Instagram, and I liked that squat rack enough that I built a replica of it. I actually just posted the videos of the build process, the other day. I guess I get to subscribe to you on RUclips, too!
Weld 1/2" Steel plates that are width and length of the crossmember ends, if you want 43" inside depth. I took my T-3 to 43.5" 2 years ago and it's a no brainer after doing it. The Steel Plates run about $30 for both crossmembers and it's just a matter of finding a good welding shop to weld and drill out. Can be done for about $30.
I think if they had this in a 6 post it would be more appealing (or some other height options), but it looks good. I'm just glad to see that most of the new releases have better finishing touches... outside of that god awful buffalo bar they make.
Is the hole spacing actually 2.00”, or is it metric at 50mm? Not super important difference for single pin attachments, but very important to know for dual pin attachments like monolifts.
The Rogue RML-90 appears to be the closest rack to compare to, priced at $983. I've not ordered a power rack from Rogue, so I don't know what the shipping cost is, but I do know the shipping cost from Titan.... Free. And you said in the beginning, many of Rogue's accessories will fit on this rack. So I think I would consider this if I was in the market for a rack.
Rogue for shipping a rack for me was 150 so youd be foolish to go Titan save a 100 bucks or so. Might be more understandable if this was half the price... Of the rogue model
To be fair, the closest rack is the Rogue RM-4 with nameplate and sandwich cups at $1465 (still missing the weight posts tho). Of course only caring for the upright and hole size, that would be the RM-4 Fortis at $985. These also are missing shipping, and Titan regularly does 10% as well... It's a solid rack, would get if it wasn't so big tho.
I looked long and hard at the Titan rack, but in the end the price savings alone wasn't enough. A Rogue RM6 will be delivered on Wednesday. The head stamp on the hardware shown in your video is metric. The Titan website shows that a 1 7/16" wrench is required for assembly. True 1" hardware would require a 1 1/2" wrench. I have also seen on another review that the drilled holes in the Titan rack are metric (24mm) and slightly undersized for 1" use. COOP, to give this rack the credit you are giving it can you confirm the hole size and that 1" Rouge or Sorinex attachments will actually work???
My question is; how similar is it to the rogue Monster rack? Would love a drop in Rhino and this could potentially make it affordable for a 36" deep version, as the RM-4 spec'd to the same as what the Titan rack comes with standard, is over $1,000 more (tax, shipping, plate holders for monster rack, nameplate upgrade, sandwich j-cups). If the Titan Titan rack can use all the monster accessories (Slinger, 50 Cal Trolley arms, Rhino drop in Belt Squat), it would be a great contender to be able to adapt to all the great innovative products that Rogue offers, without paying $2K for a rack to bolt them all to.
X2 is heavier-gauge steel, has a 6 post option, and well-appointed still costs less than half of this thing. I can see some situations where the tall rack would be nice, but I can also see this thing selling slowly because I’m not so sure that many people will find it worthwhile.
Hey brother how about a video using half of a 2 car garage for a gym on an average budget? Fold away power racks, storage, etc. rogue, rep fitness, titan perhaps? I’m researching it right now and it’s challenging. Keep up the awesome videos man! You have really helped a lot of us out
Hey Coop, 2 questions for you. #1 The short rack options on the rogue and titan are great for apartments and smaller spaces. Besides being able to do standing strict presses or pin presses inside the rack, are there any other benefits to a tall rack vs short rack? #2 Similar question about depth. Comparing 24" to 36" depths on the racks, is one much better in your opinion? Do plates on storage pins get in the way on the shallow 24" depth? Thanks in advance for your time, I would love to get your opinion on those things.
Titan 24 inch extension became available this weekend (mid July 2020) . I think it’s running around $400.00. So, a 6 post rack similar to the Rogue RM6 would total around $1,400 shipped.
So i'm looking to purchase a 6 post power rack soon with the intention of purchasing a rogue rhino for it some time in the future. Could this rack work if I purchased the 49" roque crossbeams? As far as I can tell the depth is the same at 24" but the width seems to be 1" off, correct? Is that all I would need or am I missing something?
This rack is still a good deal and about half the price of the comparable Rogue rack. I would buy it if I didn’t already have the OG Monster. Looks like Titan is getting better and better. Enjoyed the review.
It's easy to look like you're getting better when you just rip off a well respected design. Let's see them make something on their own and not blatently copy another company and see how it is.
Who knows maybe Titan would offer a Expansion kit to make it 6 posts. I know with Rogue you have to special order the extra post if you want them; if you cannot afford the RM-6 up front. Awesome review.
They came out with a 24 inch extension in 90 and 100 inch heights. This brings the price around $1,300 delivered. The rogue RM6 delivered is over $1,000.00. I had one ordered when I bought the Titan and the “in stock” RM6 was going to take 6 weeks to ship. So, I cancelled and got the TITAN. I’m glad I did. I am sure the quality of this rack has improved since Coop reviewed it because the welds, fit and finish are first rate. Not to mention the accessories are usually 50% cheaper than the Rogue option. The quality, design and value of this rack is outstanding.! But, if it makes you feel better to by the RM6, go for it.
For obvious reasons titan has always been below average on my list. After receiving a letter from titan fitness last week saying my debit info may have been compromised and to change my info immediately.. they are now a last resort.
Probably wouldn't crack down the machine welds on one of the feet like my titan T3 started to do after 4 years (yes is bolted down). 10 inch crack and growing.
For $1000 bucks you may as well buy Rogue. At least you know you gonna get all parts in the box and right bolts and washers. And is American Made and holds its value
Wait, is it actually 108” tall? The website says 100, and one of my main reasons for not buying it was because I actually wanted the 108” that Rogue offers.
I bought the 100" version today since Titan has produced a few more attachments for it lately, and they assured me they will have the storage option available this spring. I don't think they offer the 108" any longer. The bumpers will have to rest against the wall for now which sucks, but I can wait a couple of months. This should be perfect for my needs once I have the storage. I tried to give Rep fitness my money after seeing your review on the PR-5000, but their prices have gone up too much, and nothing, and I mean nothing is in stock. They still haven't recovered from black Friday.
Rep still has nothing in stock.. In fact they are on a ordering freeze since the pandemic and trying to catch up.. I'm just torn on what to get. Rogue is nice but attachments costs throught the roof but it will outlast me lol.. Titan seems pretty good the one Coop reviewed.. I want a 3x3 rack with large depth but with in reason.. How do you like the titan?
Tony F I’m very happy with it. I purchased the rack and every attachment they make for it for under 2k. All the attachments are lined with UHMW to protect the rack. Honestly, it’s serious overkill. I don’t “heed” a 3x3 rack, but it looks cool. The thing is massive and the attachments are kind of a pain to move around because of their weight. I would have been very happy with a 2x3 rack but couldn’t find one that was tall enough. I have no regrets though.
William Carter thanks Will. I see that they make 2 versions. One is $1049 and the other is 1149. I like the attachments because they remind me of Rogue but for cheaper. Like those massive Swing arm attachments for chest and shoulders. Will the Rogue attachments fit on the Titan? I’m 6 foot and the 100” might be too tall lol. i’d like to be under 2k for everything. Weights, bench, bar , and some attachments
Tony F the only difference in the two is weight storage posts. You get 4 for the extra cost which is reasonable but not practical since the weights at a higher level would get in the way of some movements. Personally I’d recommend getting a separate weight storage rack. You won’t need the weight added to the rack for it to be stable, even with the jammer arms. The arms are a cool accessory, but not necessary. I bought them because I recently had surgery on my C6-C7 and thought they’d come in handy for rehab which they have. My only gripe with them is they do not have uhmw like all the other attachments. (Sorry, I said earlier all had it but forgot this). I just put some gaffers tape on the inside of the cups to prevent chips. Problem solved... I can’t say if rogue attachments will fit perfectly, but I suspect they will be just a hair loose since Titan posts are measured in mm regardless of what the info says. The posts are a hair smaller than a true 3x3, so everything should fit fine. That said, I’m very happy with the Titan attachments, especially the adjustable mono lift arms. Everything is very heavy duty, and you really can’t go wrong here. For reference, I’m 6’ 1” and the chin up bar is pretty high. I have to stand on a box to reach this. That’s a trade off I was willing to make in order to be able to do every movement inside the rack post surgery. The real question is- will a 100” rack fit where you need it? Also think about the future in case you move. At 53 I’m in my “forever home”, lol.
Hi I am interested in your thoughts about the rogue echo bumper plates. I can not decide between all on the different bumpers. The price is really good so I would be thankful for your help.
The only rack ill spend a grand on has two legs coop!!!!! But seriously thanks to you I bought the titan safety squat bar V2 ( my only titan product) and love it!! But ill stick to my rogue RML rack lol . Thanks coop and that pooner on your face looks better by the day!!!!
I just bought their X3 rack. Haven’t got it yet. The primary reason I chose them was shipping. Why does rogue ship for $200.00 and Titan does free shipping? It is puzzling to me
Becuase titan sells garbage products and The cost of their crap shipping is factored in. Is it really that hard to figure out? They put as much thought In their packaging as their products... In other words none.....
Strange that the bolts aren’t long enough to have thread showing beyond the nut. Maybe won’t matter, but no engineer should have approved that design point.
I shot you a DM on Instagram a few days ago regarding racks and accessory selections. Going to drop on a rack soon and was looking for some feedback regarding my choices. Thanks!
strenghtshop de is preety good, bought a bastard power bar and some bumpers plates (130 KG- enough for me right now) on BF for 330 EUR total. In addition Rogue also has a EU shop, more expensive yes, but a squat rack will do the trick. I have the Infinity 2 Squat Rack which is an amazing quality for 575 EUR + 120 Eurs shipping for me. I also have an adjustable bench ,just the cheap stuff you find in a local store for 150 EURs + some rubber bands and rings (around 50 EUR). In total I am looking at 1225 EUR to get started. Best money I ever spent, I am able to workout at home and squeeze in 3-4 workouts per week, which was impossible for me since I have a small baby boy (4 months old now) . Thought abouth this purchase for over 6 months, one day I just pulled the trigger and it was the best money I ever spent. Free gym for life, I can workout whenever I want at home and I am saving time, energy and don't have to deal with the plebs at the gym.
I don't know what bothers me more... The fact that you spend all your time reviewing gyms with a "dad bod" physique, or your inability to breathe through your nose. However, your reviews are very organized and thorough, so I will continue to watch your videos for education, while being somewhat annoyed simultaneously. Take care.
For the dad bod physique, he is actually pretty strong, which after years of working out (I didn’t say “training” because I did not realize that is what I was doing) I have finally figured out what my body needs to look like a beast. It is unfortunately way different from what I need to do to become stronger. I tried power building and that only caused me to become injured at my old age of 44. So at the moment it seems that Coop is training for strength, which does not always lead one to an awesome physical appearance.
All I have to say is go watch his maxing out video. It probably puts you and 99% of people to shame, and also just stop talking crap nothing good comes from it
I have a problem buying anything else from titan. This latest crap about my debit card being comprised piled on the constant packaging issues along with crappy customer service is just too much. That being said the products I purchased in the past were quality but I doubt I will be purchasing from them anymore
@@kevinallen5450 sorry man, just a bad joke. Didn't mean any offense by it. Coop's response almost reads like he could be implying that your hearing needed to be fixed. Again, no offense intended.
With Sorinex and Rogue you're paying for better service and proven workmanship. With Titan you have proven bad service and poor workmanship. Sure, the one you received was fine. You're coop. You're a reviewer from the internet. With half a clue they should be making sure what you get is the best they have to offer. I am curious where you get all your products to review? Do some companies just send you stuff? Do you buy it out of pocket? How can you afford it all if you're paying for it out of pocket? None of this comes cheap.
I have a hard time he didn't receive this Titan crap for free. Should be disclosed in the interview. Unless I missed it wasn't mentioned. Sorry if I missed it.
Would you pay $1,000 for a Titan Fitness Rack?
$1000+ for a Rogue knockoff made in China? Nah. I'll take the real item. And given that I just got a letter from Titan that discussed a major data breach I think I'm good after one purchase from them.

You could use square washers and longer bolts in between the pullup bars to make the pullup bars work.
You should pull those studs out and see how much play there is between the bolts and holes in the rack
thanks for video, How much weight can the safety bars handle?

But seriously thanks to you I bought the titan safety squat bar V2 ( my only titan product) and love it!! But ill stick to my rogue RML rack lol . Thanks coop and that pooner on your face looks better by the day!!!!
Thanks for the laugh Dean!
Will the attachments for this rack fit on the Rep Pr5000 V2?
I was about to ask the same thing
I just bought their X3 rack. Haven’t got it yet. The primary reason I chose them was shipping. Why does rogue ship for $200.00 and Titan does free shipping? It is puzzling to me
Becuase titan sells garbage products and The cost of their crap shipping is factored in. Is it really that hard to figure out? They put as much thought In their packaging as their products... In other words none.....
Dat Mustache! Though the review was great, I would probably spend just a tad more for the Rogue 490C.
Are the bolts too short on that rack? The close ups make it look like the bolt doesn't go past the nut.
No, some of those shots were before we tightened the rack.
When are we going to see Coop's new garage gym walkthrough
Conversely, I can purchase these Titan J-cups for $99 and mount them on my Basecamp. Wish they had more accessories coming out.
Yeah, pretty good j-cups. UHMW plast on both sides.
I'm gonna need to hear Alan Thrall's opinion before I decide to buy one.
I think I know it.
Will the rogue trolley arms work on this rack?
They should, although I haven't tested them.
Strange that the bolts aren’t long enough to have thread showing beyond the nut. Maybe won’t matter, but no engineer should have approved that design point.
Mike I thought the same thing but upon closer look the bolts and nuts haven't been Titaned yet.
Some of the shots were during the install and weren't tightened yet
Says the rack is only 100 inches on website
Could you just switch the cross member to fit rogue pull-up bars?
Did you get paid for the review?
*Has anyone who ordered From Titan had their credit card used mysteriously?*
Yes!
they sent out a letter about that
I received a letter from TITAN this week informing me that there system has been compromised. I have not noticed any strange charges on my account.
no
I saw the letter from Coop...but never received one?!?
I shot you a DM on Instagram a few days ago regarding racks and accessory selections. Going to drop on a rack soon and was looking for some feedback regarding my choices. Thanks!
What's your tag? Can't keep up with all the messages lately.
No sweat, figured you’re busy with everything. @zodiaceng
Budget home gym video for sites that ship to Europe?
Yes I'd fucking love that. All these companies are American but I'd love to see him review ATX products
Yeah, hoping to review some ATX stuff
strenghtshop de is preety good, bought a bastard power bar and some bumpers plates (130 KG- enough for me right now) on BF for 330 EUR total.
I can't breathe through my nose, broken a few times in my hockey days. Regarding the physique critique, appreciate your input.
Don’t knock the coop, he is the garage gym Jesus. Nothing else like him when it comes to the garage gym gang.
Maybe you should get lost you judgemental prick! Because you bother everyone being the douche that you are!
I've heard that from a few people.
That's why you should buy online exclusively with PayPal.
I would buy one but it was too tall for my garage.
Dude, that's a pedafile mustache if ive ever seen one. Haha. Great review man.
Thanks regarding the review 😁
We need a picture of him hugging a My Pillow. Would be perfect.
This won’t even fit in my garage. If they had a short version it may be tempting though.
Will the .50 cal trolley arms fit on it?
They should
Testing out a combo rack I see!
Ohh yeah!
🍺🍷 A nice looking Rack! Cheers 🍻🍷🍷
“This isn’t a budget friendly rack” oh nvm then :(
Since Titian can’t keep its data secure, I’m never buying from them again.
I've heard that from a few people.
Why didn’t you tell of the prices of the comparable racks ?
No subtitles bro!!! I'm deaf lol
Dang, need to fix that!
Yeah Kevin! Fix your hearing, bro
@@d0d733 hey Lawrence, fix your brain Bro!
@@kevinallen5450 sorry man, just a bad joke. Didn't mean any offense by it. Coop's response almost reads like he could be implying that your hearing needed to be fixed. Again, no offense intended.
@@d0d733 Aye no problem
How good the welds are your not even a welder.
Does TITAN out -sourch their jobs to China? looks like it. what about ROGUE? Hige price difference
7:15 titan monster rack?
👹
*shear strength
Thank you. So used to barbells haha
Depends on the product, some companies send them, others we purchase. Standard things for reviewers in every industry.
Rogues customer service is trash compared to Titan
I have a hard time he didn't receive this Titan crap for free. Should be disclosed in the interview. Unless I missed it wasn't mentioned. Sorry if I missed it.
It’s not fitting in my garage gym too tall
Yeah, very tall rack.
I stand with Thrall. Make the fitness equipment industry great again. Titan is a cancer
👍🏻
Can't trust a man that uses a Freddy Mercury mustache
It sounds like you are sponsored by TITAN...
Please... Watch the last video where I discussed Titan.
