Today my buddy Clark hired me to go to the city and haul back six ton of gravel for him with my Iron Bull Dump Trailer. Sometimes when you have a dump trailer you can use it to make extra money doing hauling jobs. Have a good day everybody.
Equipment List :
one middle aged man
One Iron Bull Dump Trailer
one Bobcat E35 excavator with thumb
one Stihl 461 chainsaw
Hey man cross those chains under the hitch so your trailer if it comes off it won't go straight to the ground
Better cross those chains
What's the weight rating on your ball looks light, nice set up
Clark is BLESSED to have you as a friend!!
Cross the safety chains. Put grease on the 2 5/16 ball
Hi Ben!!😀😀
Love your Dodge!!
Six in a row and ready to pull!!
Makes a nice combination with the dump trailer.
Take care buddy!!😀😀❤
Thanks man. It'll pull a mountain. Haha.
Hi Ben, the right equipment always makes the job look easy. Love your iron bull trailer. Good job man.💪👍👍
Why does no one ever cross their chains 🤦🏽♂️ it creates a cradle for the tongue if for some reason the coupling comes off the ball. I’m 18, grown men should know this stuff!!
That could be true.
That’s exactly what a dot officer would look for
It saved my trailer once when it uncoupled from going over a bridge expansion joint. Thats exactly the purpose of them. Oh, and u dont just kick the tires, u inspect your tires too and your lights.

Cross chains and buy some tires with tread on them before you kill someone.
That is a short fuckin bed on that ram
Haha. It sure is
That dually looks awsome
Thanks man
I run cummins also but triple axle dump trailer. 8-9 tons of payload and these newer trucks handle it so well. Don't forget to use that parking brake to hookup so it doesn't roll forward when you put it in park. Also if you get a remote for dump trailer you can spread gravel on driveways. I have a few videos on that.
Thanks man. Wish I had a triple axle. That would be fun
@@survivingcountrylife7069 which transmission does yours have?
@@SwiftOutdoors not sure to be honest. I have got an automatic is all I can tell ya
@@survivingcountrylife7069 ahh. There are 3 options. Manual and two autos. Chrysler and aisin autos. Tow ratings on them are quite different between each one. I'd you have the aluminum with fins differential cover it's most likely the upgraded aisin.
Nice dump trailer!!! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods!! 👊👍💚
Thanks man. Everything's going OK so far
Another nice video Ben, I have friends who would think your tires are like new yet, ha ha. I don't want to even think about what they are worth. I'm glad to see you are all doing well.
Thanks man. Were all doing good. Stay safe man
Ive had my 7x16 Lamar dump trailer (That i pull with my F450) for close to a year now and haven't put much over 5 ton in it yet. I have yet to even tax the dump power or the truck tho so i see me going up in weight a little. Nice setup.
Thanks man
Equipment envy again Ben 😩 nice trailer man .
Thanks man
you are supposento cross the chains each other
You are supposed to cross chains. If it comes unhooked it cradles it
Some of these fellas In the comments make a good point about crossing the safety chains is to support the tongue from digging into th highway if it pops off the ball ....... I know this from experience ........
cheers ol boy
Thanks man. That would sure be a scary deal to have a trailer come loose on ya
What year and model 3500 is your truck? I’m looking to get one and honestly never seen one with that short of a bed, looks awesome!
It's a 16 3500 laramie
About time you did something with the truck that wasn't firewood related.. LoL
Haha. I'm gona try and make a lawn mower vid tomorrow dan
@@survivingcountrylife7069 : I will be working with my dad on his later this week.. Should be fun..
@@DanielAtkinsFirewood ok man. Don't forget to make a video sometime if ya want.
@@survivingcountrylife7069 : for my channel I did one the other day and I will have another sometime tomorrow.. And maybe another on Wednesday.. The 3rd one is already working in my head.. Lol
@@DanielAtkinsFirewood ok sounds good ill check em out now
Awesome set up thanks for the video. How do you like your truck? Would you consider a goose neck dump trailer?
Thanks man. I like my bumper hitch because its super easy to hook up and easy visibility to back up. I feel like because the pickup is a 3500 it doesn't have any problem handling the weight on the rear bumper
@@survivingcountrylife7069 thanks for your reply
@@mattd8411 no problem man
That there dodge dully is that the model with the factory equipped heated tail gate? That was a pretty good add on for the Ram 3500's keeps them hands warm while pushing it off the road in the winter's
What is your day job please.
I work at an agricultural plant that takes the oil out of soy beans
Criss cross your chains ⛓
So Jesus is coming sooner then we think by looking at world events. here is the salvation prayer for those who are not saved .pray this with your kids so u know that they are saved and everyone you know. Jesus is coming quickly
Dear Jesus
Come into my heart, forgive me of my sins, wash me, cleanse me, set me free Jesus, right now I receive you as my lord and savior.
I believe you are the son of God and you were raised from the dead, thank for saving me and forgiving me, I am born again. I am forgiven and I am on my way to heaven because I have Jesus in my heart.
Amen
is this a low profile dump trailer?
Not sure. I dont think so. Sides are 20 inches or 24 inches. I forget
@@survivingcountrylife7069 then it is
Please provide context. Next time consider telling us what the video is about? Why were you hauling the rock? Info like that will keep us interested. My dump trailer is fun to fill up and haul around, but telling the viewer what you are doing with it makes it more interesting for us all... Thank you. Like your channel!
No problem man and thanks. That was a load of rock I holed for my friend Clark. Charged him 100 bucks for the trucking and dumped it at his house so he could use it for landscaping
city!!!!!!! what city is that??
It is sioux city ia where lumberyard and gravel pit are
@@survivingcountrylife7069 ahhh very nice unfortunately I like bout 50 miles from nyc...

Nice rig ya got there. Might wanna consider crossing those safety chains to keep the law happy.
Thanks man
How much do you charge to haul a load of rock?
