I won't even pretend to understand any of what's going on in here. 😅 Gen 1 is just a wonderful, beautiful, utterly incomprehensible mess and I love it.

I laughed at seeing those game destroying glitch items and next to them a Lemonade. Gotta stay hydrated I supposed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Btw randoms squares 8 has such a beautiful voice ✨

The lemonades and other items are who help 8f run the arbitrary code execution

I feel like I'm gonna get dizzy trying to understand what any if this means, but I'm glad it exists, I guess? 😅

I love the idea, I feel like we can speed this up quite a bit.
EDIT: I can confirm that this can be sped up by a lot by abusing glitch moves during link battles. See replies to this comment!
The problem with link encounters is that, for both trades and trainers, the link party data isn’t actually kept after the mandatory reset. Can’t do a trade, quit out, then execute leftover link data
I recall playing around with glitch move effects, don’t recall the details but since some of them trigger ACE you could have the opponent prepare a redirect to their received version of link party data, then use the glitch move to trigger ACE. This would allow the opponent to immediately execute the link party as code without needing to trade lots of data.
The main hurdle of this approach is that exiting link mode requires a reset. The easiest solution I can think of right now would be to copy the payload over to box 1 in sram bank 02 (not checksum protected).
When the opponent reloads their game, all they’d need to do is execute a redirect to the active box.

Got a viable setup to inject ACE using glitch moves. Will throw everything together in a few hours

Ah yes inject this ace trade into my eyeballs
Watching it during a night shift feels great

Are there any options to invoke the transfer routines directly instead of trading? I feel like this could open the door for much bigger payloads.
