- Hey there! In today's video, I'm going to be showing you part one of my eyeshadow palette collection. If you're curious as to what I own, why I own it, where it came from and if it's going to stay in my collection, then I think you're really going to enjoy this video. It was really fun to film and I got rid of quite a few palettes. I know this is a pretty long video so I really appreciate you taking the time to watch it. I never get tired of looking at or talking about eyeshadow palletes. I love seeing things from long ago. Always a thrill when I see some that I have. 😃 So much good stuff!! I need to stop being a makeup goblin but it's so hard to resist.

A few years ago i decluttered a lot of my palettes, I had quite a big collection of them. It was easy for me to do, I was "young and shallow" I guess 🤣🤣 because I had spent so much money on those palettes, there were limited editions, beautiful palettes.
I've had many opportunities to regret that declutter and I still wish I had most of those palettes but hey! At least that's taught me that I shan't be decluttering any more of my palettes. My tastes change constantly and i'm sure those palettes i decluttered would bring me joy now. Oh well! 🤷🏻♀️
That’s such a good point, Eva!! Tastes do change and it’s not fun to have regrets about getting rid of things that maybe we should hold on to. I read a book not too long ago about decluttering your house. And the author mentions that if you haven’t touched something in 6 months, then it’s clutter and you should get rid of it. So that’s how I try to operate now. But man, it’s TOUGH!!!!!!🥴

@@dawnr9158 I decluttered Blush Crush a while back. Just couldn’t really get it to show up that great on me. I almost think it was a bum palette. Sometimes CP palettes can be crappy. They crank em out too fast!

Sorry, 3rd comment here, I'm gabby. I have a lot of the same colourpop palettes. I agree that the Lilac palette needed a shade that was deeper. I have to use it as an accent. The Blue Moon palette made me dip my toes into using blues. Now I use it all of the time. This series is so good for me to watch!!! I absolutely 💯 ♥️ it!
You’re not being gabby! Comment all ya want! I love it!! That’s always been an issue of mine with purple palettes… not a deep enough matte. So when there is one, I kinda go bonkers about it. Lol!!💜💜💜

You started with my favorite-The Brights! 🤩💕 🌈🔆🔦To this day, the tones in that palette (especially the mattes) do exactly as you said regarding giving me everything I could want. 😍 Of course, that’s obviously not stopping either of us from owning other gorgeous palettes too, right?! 😁 I really enjoyed seeing the first half of your collection, as it definitely has some additions (& now subtractions) from your original collection video. It’s cool to see how our makeup tastes can change a bit as we discover new formulas & color stories & kinda’ hone-in on what we enjoy (& what we don’t). I will never be able to thank you enough for recommending that palette to me. It’s just fantastic. Everything about it makes me happy. It’s sooo nice to have my collection thinned down. It feels a lot more manageable and a lot more exciting. This weekend I’m going to work on getting things organized and arranged and then I’ll film my set up. I’m soooo excited!!! There’s something so gratifying about getting a handle on inventory (whether it’s makeup , clothing, or anything really) so that one can actually envision & then implement an organized space. It’s fun to see how that whole process takes place (no matter how gradual) & then the final outcome, so looking forward to seeing how it all turns out! In the meantime, we have severe thunderstorms ⛈️ & a tornado watch for tonight, so it’s me & Sinclair hunkering down, as hubby is in transit to Scotland via Newark, so praying he gets out of the country before any bad weather hits. Loved this, looking forward to to part two. I get the obsession, I organize the palettes in Marshalls every time I go and by the end usually I walk out with nothing. I only do my makeup once a day, I could never use it all. I will live vicariously through you if that’s ok. Thanks for sharing.❤😊

I have never seen the Nomad Tuscany and it is BEAUTIFUL!! I love the idea of rearranging a palette to make more sense. I am thinking of doing that with my Beauty Bay Jade palette because I don't like the way it is laid out. The OG Soft and Sultry from Milani is gorge! I am so bummed that I didn't buy that formula when it was out. You absolutely, 100% need to keep the That's Taupe! It's taupey goodness and the formula is so beautiful! The Blowin' Smoke is amazing! I almost decluttered it and I'm so happy that I didn't! I want to try Moira. I have heard so many great things about them. You did an amzing job of decluttering! Strawberry Milkshake was my first Alien (now Unearthly) Cosmetics. It's been a love affair ever since. Wonderful color stories, excellent formula, and the artwork is so awesome.

Unearthly makes it very hard to say no. Have you tried the liquid lip its really been a fav for me. Such lovely colors but I need to get a couple of the new colors they dropped.

I can't say how much I love long form videos on RUclips enough! I know I worry when I break the 30 minute mark myself but sometimes things take as long as they take. Love it or lump it is what I say to the haters. Not that I have had any complaints. As for palette collection/declutter videos, I LOVE them and yours is no exception! MWAH xox
PS. I don't buy ColourPop anymore. One thing I notice with creators that do is that those palettes seem to be the ones they declutter the most. Just saying. xox
I love long videos, too. Especially collection videos. My fave!! I love to see what people have, what the love, what they don’t etc. The Nosey Nan in me, I guess. Yeah, CP cranks out too many releases and the quality suffers. I do have some wonderful staples in my collection from the brand but they haven’t released anything for quite a while that gets my goat. My Going Coconuts and That's Taupe stay at the top of my pile. When I'm in a rush and don't have creativity, those are my go to. Always a great look with them. I do have Bare Necessities, so I probably don't need Going Coconuts. Actually I should put it in my travel case for when everyone goes to Hawaii and I watch their pets, 🤣
Those are perfect palettes for a quick, beautiful look. Absolutely! They are two of the best neutral palettes ever made. 🤩🤩

The hard thing with that Unearthly palette is what to do with it - the reds and greens don’t go together naturally for me. I own it and have never used it either. It will likely end up being a companion palette for me to user with other neutrals OR I’ll declutter it.
It’s a really different color story for sure. I know that’s why I’ve hesitated, too. I am not super experienced with challenging color stories. I’ve heard so many amazing things about the formula. I think we can do it!! We can conquer this palette, my friend!!!🤗💖😘

Lol, I just opened Lilac you alot yesterday. I was thinking the same thing; it needs a deeper shade. I got it because someone did a really pretty look, but I'm not happy with my look when I use it.
Me neither. I mean, it’s okay. But it’s never totally wowed me. I like the Violets from JP much better. 💜💜💜

@@EricaConger I think smoking it out with black shadow on the outer corner is a more subtle way to use pink. Or dramatic smoky...
