I teamed up with We Are Underdogs, a Portuguese Shoe company to see if we could make a real shoe in just 48 hours! I flew to Portugal to meet up with Paulo, a shoe maker with decades of experience. Together we met with multiple shoe factories and made the first sample of a shoe in just 48 hours! Check out the whole video to find out how we made our shoe!

The upper is hard; the bottom sole is really what throws me off. Hopefully I'm not alone here and I'll explain why.
The sole/midsole kinda looks feminine, it reminds me of a sole that nurses wear in hospitals. Where its one rounded shape all around. Kinda like if an Alexander McQueen and a nurse shoe had a baby lol. It needs more character in my opinion.
Besides that I like where this is going, looks very fashion like but the color way also screams "off white" bite.
Now this is constructive criticism, not just commenting insults and spamming trash emojis.

I was expecting absolute garbáge, and even though these aren't gonna sell that well, it's obvious that you're onto something.
You might not be a designer, but you have some of the best experience in the shoe game imaginable. Keep with it! Keep refining and smoothing out the kinks!! Don't let this be a one and done type of situation, because you've clearly got what it takes.
I actually like that sneaker a lot. I think it'll look even better with the improvements you listed, especially showing off more gray nubuck.

I think they'll look solid with the minor changes you have in mind. Maybe include several laces in different colors and styles (flat white laces, laces to match the blue, etc.). Either way, they look good. Job well done, Seth.

Yeah the upper looks ok but the midsole doesn't look too clean.. i would prefer a less curvy design that resembles an air force 1..
personally not a fan of the sneaker but this is an achievement to make your own sneaker! And i learned a bit on sneaker manufacturing. don’t understand why people will hate, youre not forcing anyone to purchase the shoe.

I like the introduction and the process of making it from a sketch to a real sneaker. Its all very genuine. The colourway for this, the colours contrast are well blended. The only thing probably I would hope to make it better is for the logo and branding to pop out more. The outsole design could be improved further. Overall I love the name for this sneaker and the collab. Great work fowler!

That being said these sneakers feel like a missed opportunity, I basically see nothing special or even solid about them. And the lacing system just looks horrible.
Also it is hella shady the fact that all comments are positive and pinned even if they have no likes. Just take the criticism man.

Man, you need to create your own logo so you can use it for this kind of jobs. Maybe we are looking to the new Tinker Hatfield, because althoug you don't have the experience, you mix your knowledge with you good taste and passion for sneakers. You can not teach people the passion that you feel. Keep up the good work and your amazing sketches

Did you make an update to this silhouette with the lacing system? I don't remember, but if so, then I really like it.

May I suggest your second shoe design to be something very departed from this colorway and silhouette? Maybe more runner inspired? I would love to see what you can cook up. 👍🏿

Just curious, now that you've gone through the process, why don't more shoes pad the tongue like the SB Dunks? Maybe not so extreme, but put some padding.
The colorway, materials, shape, and pretty much everything about this shoe looks amazing. You did a helluva job on these and it’s well deserved that you got to have your own shoe. Can’t wait to see what they look like when they’re fully finalized. Big congrats, man! 🤙🏼🔥💯
