- The Government of India has given certain privileges/ exemption from paying of Income Tax to the Scheduled tribe residing in certain specific areas as per the provision of section 10 (26) of the Income Tax Act, 1961. However many businesses are registered in the name of tribals (Benamidars) and are run by taxable person/ non-locals (beneficial owners), thereby evading Income Tax. This video aim to educate the exempted tribals from abstaining from such practices and the consequential penal actions.
This video is released in public interest by the Income Tax Department, North East Region, Guwahati to create awareness on the issue of Benami Transaction (Prohibition) Amendment Act 2016.

As a banker myself, I have come across so many (almost all) Non locals running business in the name of Our local people just to avoid Income tax. Proprietor will be Mr. Azo, Wati, Nzan, Atok etc and the Mandate holder will be Mr. Abdul, Raju, prakash etc. (Mandate holder, who is the actual owner is earning Crores at our expenses) and the Govt. is losing Hundred of Crores in income tax. Have been advising our people to stop this practice but Alas Nagas being Nagas .......

Last year I went searching for rent in and around dimapur but to my surprise I came across many rents mostly big buildings where the owners keep mia non locals as their Chowkidar,, and I have to convince them by addresing uncle or kokei.
Mark my words ,,, ILP will only remain as paper in Nagaland. Amen.

I really appreciate the work and emphasize given on public awareness, and this is very true. This not only can land our people in the Jail but the losses we incurred on our state Govt. Is in immense danger. I think we should not only ask the state govt. To look into matters but we the public should know what we are doing because we will suffer when things start to take a turn.
I believe that this channel is not really a comedy but more to an awareness programme. To laugh watching this will be fools if we dont learn anything or our mistakes, but we should learn to take a step further instead of laughing at ourselves.

Appreciate the efforts of dreamz unlimited. Just an opinion or a suggestion to the team, I don't know if any of the member will even read my msg but trying it out.
Most of the videos which this channel brings out are very informative and I personally feel that all these awareness and information should be spread to every individual of our naga communities. No doubt through the help of RUclips many people are being informed or updated but there are still many who are yet unknown of all these facts or information.
So, my suggestion is why not this team collaborate with associations of different church and use church as a platform to creat awareness amongst our people along side RUclips .
This group started off from the church so why not continue with the same but now on a wider level of including churches of all tribes. Our people need to know of all these facts, awareness and information.
