Looking unto Jesus - Charles Spurgeon Sermons
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

Jesus is calling me, I know it. But I am so full of sin, self righteousness, judging others, selfishness and idolatry. I doubt and have little faith in Jesus. I feel I want to be saved by Jesus out of selfishness, instead of coming to a place of conviction and repentance. I am confused, lost and miserable in my life. If anyone sees this, I would appreciate if you can please pray for me.
I prayed for you and this verse came to my mind. Luke 18:10-14 Two men went up to the temple to pray,one a pharisee and the other a tax collector. The pharisee stood and prayed this with himself, God I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust,adulterers, or even as this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all O possess. And the tax collector standing afar off would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast saying, God be merciful to me a sinner! I Tell you this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. You are not far from the kingdom of heaven when you realize your wickedness, we are all truly unworthy....He who comes to him he will in no wise cast out. Call on him and trust that his sacrifice was enough. If you feel that even your coming to him is out of selfishness, confess that, He is willing and able to completely save those who call upon Him....He already knows everything about us and nothing is hidden from his sight. He loves us anyway. Trust that He loves you.

For almost 2 days, i believe I have been suffering some sort of spiritual attack... I would not leave my bedroom, felt weak, didnt eat much, avoided people and i did not attend church, also thought about ending my life, i asked God for His help, he took me to this and it has been a little while since i have listened some Charles Spurgeon sermons, i feel stronger, i feel lifted up, i feel my anxiety melting away, surely The Lord was in this place and i did not know it!
Amen, what a blessed sermon about our Lord Jesus Christ.

This verse in Isaiah is what helped bring Spurgeon to the Lord. Isaiah 45:22 "LOOK UNTO ME, AND BE YE SAVED,
ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH"

Whether you believe or not it does not change the truth that Jesus is the Son of God and God Himself. Believe and you will see and not like the foolish of the world that looks for miracle but not knowing that their lives itself is a miracle.

First of all, I don't know if this was a joke never having met Chuck in person; was he being sarcastic possibly - but man-o-man was this bad. Dear Chuck did you mean to epicly fail at poetry??
Secondly, you had notes I'm assuming, why did this speech seem like it was assembled by a child who was reading from the Gospels for the first time. - and assembled at the last minute??
Thirdly, I'm tired of people saying these old dead dudes were so Holy yada, yada, yada.
Chuck my man, just read the Bible if preaching is that hard for you.
I understand people in general have off days preachers are no different; however, are we not told in Scripture that Christ will hold these men in higher accountability for their diligence to the Word.
In conclusion, I cannot wait to meet Chuck face to face one day in the new Jerusalem and ask him what his deal is.
