im from New Zealand,i know theres snakes there in Texas just wondering are there like large amounts of snakes all around or just here and there...and snakes im not referring to some of the human beings that we have down here as well
Texas is so big there are different kinds of snakes all over from rattlesnakes which are usually in tall grass and desert areas to garden snakes near people’s homes as well as water moccasins in creeks. Unless your in areas that aren’t occupied by humans very much you won’t come across them very often.

@@RandyTheWildHorse 😂😂😂😂 very true Randy, But it’s paying off as he is getting more subscribers all the time, Charlie seems like a lovely guy and it would be great one day to put a face to his voice but I don’t think he’ll ever do that for safety reasons. I would love to live in Galveston :)
Yes its a nice place with friendly people bums and all. Galveston so call ghettos are safe to walk and ride bikes. You can walk at night hang at the beach all night till sunrise
Mold and milddew biggest concern housing and job shortages huge problem but if you desire to live a beach life with many things to do. This is the place to be love galveston
@@rebeprice4400 Hard Times & Misery Saloon and Gloria's Lounge are a couple of bars i remember had my first tamales in Gloria's ,met some great people loved the history of the tourist places, and my uncle showed me some cool out of the way out places and met quite a few BOI who are very proud of the island,The beach was beautiful and being from the UK and only experienced paddling in The North sea or the Mediterranean i was shocked at how hot the Gulf of Mexico was .i will return one day :)
This neighborhood looks just like Gentilly in New Orleans near the Lakefront and UNO
Galveston is like a baby new orleans go look at the strand😂
Lol Charlie just be making them STOP SIGNS LOL 😂…
3:33 Look like this man storm chasing tornadoes. That was a wall cloud!
I have lived in Galveston and the thing that is so weird about it is that nobody cuts their FUCKING grass! A million dollar home and the grass is 2 feet high! WTF...cut that shit.
THIS GUY DIDNT DRIVE INTO ONE OF OUR HOODS! Just a couple of poor alley ways! He's Definitely not from here! Lmao
ITS GALVESTON! WHAT HOOD COULD GALVESTON POSSIBLY HAVE? 😂😂😂😂😂
this area doesnt look ghetto some parts of it are destoryed but it is nt ghetto
No dude you didn’t go by those apartments off of ball. They are like The projects go there at night
Hahahaha that's was my thought too.
People see “Texas” an immediately start hatin knowinnngg they would never bring that hate NOWHERE in Texas not even the suburbs 😂😂
I can't believe even here the average rent for a one bedroom is 1100
Right🙄
yo Charlie, when you get to Acres Homes, Texas in Houston hit me up for a free beer.
I remember passing threw one of the worse storms ever in Galveston
The deadliest hurricane in U.S. history made landfill in Galveston in 1900, killing an estimated 8,000 people in the area.
If Hurricane Ike had just steered 20 miles to the west or Hurricane Harvey made a bee line to Houston from the Gulf, Galveston would probably not be a going concern at the moment.
People living in shacks driving Audis and Porches... That's how you stay in poverty for life folks.
There's first generation Americans who eat ramen all month, to maintain their BMW.
Consumerism defined.
@@chuckdarwin6887 they should watch Fight Club 😂
Honestly who cares
Some people prefer a nice house
Some people prefer a nice car
Any house is way more expensive than the average car anyway, plus getting a house is such a complicated process and they’re so expensive nowadays, you can barely get a dump for $200,000. A dope car is like $50,000.
Those are high value properties
Hurricane would just rip them houses right out
You would think but shit the city has dealt with hurricanes
@@Tiy51 Facts,Harvey is one of them
We had a Hurricane Elsa hit our state of NC like 3 weeks ago.
Haha so true they ain't prepare for that at all in Galveston
There is a sea wall in galveston thats why the houses are still there
Next video: The worst hoods of River Oaks. 😂😂😂
Great footage 🫡🫡🫡
This is a well needed economic explanation of what real gentrification looks like most of the homes are owned by white or hispanic descent . You can see what hurricane ike has done to demographics
Galveston👍🏿seems more safer, tidy and orderly than Philadelphia's best✍🏿
Indeed it is bums and homeless people under control especially in sumner months
You haven't been to Killeen Texas have you...?
My sister stays in Killeen t's it's grimey there too.its not as violent as galveston but it's close.👍
@@kennethyoung9560 I'm on the border of Killeen and Heights.
Saying there is a “hood” on the island is hilarious.
Bring ur b****a** down here and see wussup. U probably a Wht boy
😅
@@user-ez2gt8es2m I’ll say it again, there are zero “hoods” on the island. And I’m purple fool, ball high tors for life smart guy. go back to 54 and ball st. I’m a local, genius.
Wow who you supposed to be what are you like 20, if anyting ghettos, hoods, what have you Etc.theyre everywhere it doesn't matter what state what country what city they're everywhere so I don't know what you're talkin about.
And not boasting or glorifying negatives if you ask me it doesn't matter how you raise it's your mindset and how you choose to be so right arriving painting there can be a lot of Idiocracy, but that Justice well runs with plain ignorance. Ghetto living or not white black minority or not so STFU
The real hood is next door at Texas city only 5 mins away
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dude is not even close to the hood. He is just driving down in an alley between old houses
Most everything that’s not a restored historic property or a new build (down the island) looks that way. Most of these properties were built before 1940 and some even survived the 1900 hurricane. If they’re that old and haven’t been restored, they’re gonna look like crap. And since that’s where the rent is cheapest……..
There’s a couple of neighborhoods with brick houses from the 60’s or so.
Who remembers backtrack???
Bruh forgot to slide through Parkland
Gal,,,,used to be so beautiful them hurricanes done messed that place 🆙 ..
U gotta check out Port Arthur TX, charlie bo
He already did a Port Arthur TX video. #UGK4Life
Poor neighborhoods but they live in huge houses:/
My brother was born n Galveston havnt been out there in years,we reside n Louisiana nw that’s mostly Whea my family is frm!!!
Go by cedar terrace, oleander homes or any neighborhood around market st .
What u talking about . My hood is beautiful.. And clean .Trill. Family.. 🔥😎
I went there and didn’t see not one police car and no graffiti this place ain’t no hood
Because you went to the safe parts
Got Minix walking down the alley🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Pio Pius That's her🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Pio Pius Lucky from Palm Terrace
This video should be taken down! You must not know what worst hoods look like you didn't even go through the right parts
how tf yu got galveston and not beaumont lmaoo
Yea Beaumont be dangerous AF at night.
im from New Zealand,i know theres snakes there in Texas just wondering are there like large amounts of snakes all around or just here and there...and snakes im not referring to some of the human beings that we have down here as well
Texas is so big there are different kinds of snakes all over from rattlesnakes which are usually in tall grass and desert areas to garden snakes near people’s homes as well as water moccasins in creeks. Unless your in areas that aren’t occupied by humans very much you won’t come across them very often.
You ain really go to none of the hoods but good video
Galveston is not hood....Black Families have always had fewer opportunities, so what you see is just that. Plus the weather is brutal on wood framed houses.
All the Alleys look the same. There are parts of Galveston that are sketchy, none of those areas seemed to be in this video.
This video sucks you claim this is the "hood" but you didn't even hit any of them real spots. Across from the big cemetery on 45th street would have been the perfect spot. Anything on the other side of Broadway would have been perfect but you literally just went to residential neighborhoods. Those neighborhoods aren't ghetto they're just outdated SMH 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Next week, we'll show you the wilder side of galveston. *takes you to schliterbahn*
If u need a place to stay in Houston let me know bro
I had to leave, didn't even get a chance to film in Houston it was storming to bad. Will do Houston Later. I barley had a chance to do Galveston.
Be safe on the road
@@CharlieBo313 damn I really wanted a new houston video to

You must not be from Galveston. That is not the ghetto. You should have went further down on Winnie street. The ghetto in Galveston is called "Parkland." That whole area is the ghetto. You would had got some good footage if you would have went to Parkland.
I think it's pretty common knowledge he isn't from Galveston, bub

been to Galveston a thousand times... just watch your surroundings and as in any major city.. especially at night when most crimes happen... addicts are active after dark... just common sense
