I found your channel through this video. Your enthusiasm and knowledge are inspiring! I’m planning to try this (and your video on propagating Japanese maple). Keep up the great work!
Am I the only one on YT that calls the night-blooming cereus "Babe in a Manger"? My largest plant was gifted to me by a patient in '92. Easiest plant to propagate ever...just jam a stem in the dirt and forget about it. A no-brainer.
I just got some clippings from a friend and have just transferred to potting soil now how long does it take for them to flower? The leaves are about a foot long now.
You can add some organic phosphorus to help it along or try a new location. I cut the leaves at the joints. Best place to get them to root. Hope this helps. Have a great week.

I’ve never heard it called that. Interesting. Thanks for the info - have a great day.
Thx q for the tutoria!
You are welcome. Glad you enjoyed.

It’s hard to say - the clipping I propagated just had numerous blooms on them. You should target for around 9 months with perfect conditions
Any tricks to getting it to bloom? How do you prune yours?

Omg. Mine has grown completely out of control. I don't know where to start. I have propagated this 4 times and they too are OUT OF CONTROL.
Sell them on line. We do every year. Also at our local farmers market.
I'll take some cuttings😅
