  • About this video:
Antonia Montoya, LCSW, a mental health therapist, explains how difficult events can lead to trauma. Trauma-informed care recognizes that people accessing care may have experienced trauma in their lives.
    About this video series:
With the Partnership for Success (PFS20) Polysubstance Use Video Project, we aim to provide education and work directly with human services providers, treatment providers, medical providers, and harm reduction providers, so they can directly educate or encourage patients to reduce high-risk polysubstance use. We are increasing community awareness and community concern about the frequency and impact of polysubstance use through information dissemination, anticipating it will lead to less risky use patterns for people who use substances.
Learn more about substance use, polysubstance use, harm reduction and trauma-informed care and find community resources that can help.
