    Hi Jack M. Apologies for the very late reply. My response could be in your inbox held for review. Anyway, the dryer is doing very well. The sensor drying works really good. It automatically stops the drying cycle once the moisture is gone to avoid unnecessary waste on power. Equiped with reverse tumble action - means tangle free and less wrinkle. Very happy with the purchase.
    Wishing everyone a blissful new year and covid-free 2021.

    Hi Quan Phan. The issue could be due to the less moisture from your laundry. That is how the sensor drying works. Sometimes it's difficult to dry damp clothes as the sensor dryer is sensitive. Otherwise, try contacting your dealer if the unit is defective. They will replace or repair the appliance if still under warranty. All the best.
    Wishing everyone a blissful new year and covid-free 2021.

    Hiya, Thank you for this detailed video. We are looking forward to buy the heat pump version (edh903bewa) of yours. Hopefully, the back will be similar to the one you have. So I can attach the draining kit easily. Removing water from the container is a hassle, so I really want to connect the drain kit.

      @@scrubandcorn3157 Dont want to jinx it but it is doing fantastic. Best dryer we've had. We barely can see an increase in the electricity bill compared to not having a dryer. Perfectly dried clothes and no sheet bundles. Low sound. The dryer rack is getting used more often than I initially thought. So I am loving it.

    Thanks so much for your review, and breakdown on the steps. But, I’m wondering is it necessary to have the tubing to a nearest sink? I’m living in a studio and don’t have a sink that’s close by.

      Hi Elena. It's just an option. I think that tubing is best if you have a stacked setup (dryer on top of washer) where the reservoir is too high to reach. Thanks for watching. Like and subscribe. 😊

    Hi, I just installed this dryer on top of my Laundry bench (nowhere else to install). It works ok, but just 2 things not happy with.
    1/ Is the noise it makes towards the end of the drying period which goes on for a few minutes.
    2/ The 3" gap at the back that shows a whole lot of ugly parts (from side view) of the machine.
    So I guess I ask if there is a plate that should cover that gap, and is the noise normal? Thanks... Mike.

    • @scrubandcorn3157
      @scrubandcorn3157  2 года назад +1

      Hi Mikey. Apologies for the very late reply. Here are my answers on your questions. 1. The noise at the end of the drying period is likely the passing of collected water (condensation) towards the reservoir or the anti-crease function is on and working. 2. I reckon the engineers designed the gap on purpose to prevent the appliance from overheating. And also, most of these appliance were installed under a laundry bench or laundry cabinets.

    Thanks so much for this video. Way better than Electrolux. So I gather from your video the D11 is not needed?? There is nothing in the instructions that mentions this. Also what was the point of the water hardness test? And I did not understand the purpose of the setting adjustment. The instructions from Electrolux are really inadequate…

    • @scrubandcorn3157
      @scrubandcorn3157  3 месяца назад

      Hi @suevize6853. The appliance is set by default to drain in the supplied reservoir. Otherwise, you can use the DK11 kit to bypass the reservoir and drain the moisture to the nearest sink. This is ideal when the appliance is stacked on top of a washer as reservoir will be set high and difficult to reach. With regards to water hardness test, it is essential as hardness levels vary from different places. The dryness level can be adjusted based on the results.

    Might not get an answer but here goes, you did not show it in the video, but on the back of the machine at the very bottom is a hole/fitting of some kind (for a hose?) what is this for? We put our seethrough hose onto that fitting and out in the sink since we want to use the water container on the top left.

    • @scrubandcorn3157
      @scrubandcorn3157  Год назад

      Happy New Year Christer. I don't remember seing an out at the bottom part of yhe appliance. The default setting or configuration for water collection is the tank/reservoir. The fitting kit is for direct discharge to the nearest laundry tub. Thanks for watching. Like and subscribe!

    Hey mate what does holding gentle dry and extra anti crease actually do???

    • @scrubandcorn3157
      @scrubandcorn3157  3 года назад

      Hi Lachlan203. According to the user manual, you can use the gentle dry programme on fabrics containing acrylics or viscose. With this option you can set a delicate drying programme that has a low temperature. Look for the symbol with square, circle, and a dot in the middle. Sorry I can't find a symbol to insert here.
      For extra anti-crease, this extends the anti-crease phase by 60 minutes at the end of the drying cycle. This function reduces creases. You can remove the laundry during this phase.
      Happy washing. Like and subscribe!

      @scrubandcorn3157  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi @elliotmoritz8993. I reckon you don't have to as they were secured properly. Otherwise, it should be in the user manual if it requires removal prior to use the appliance. It is something to do with insulation, I believe. I never removed mine, and my unit still works fine as usual. Hope this helps.

Black icon for extra dry, half icon for cupboard dry, and white for iron dry. The appliance is sensor dryer, it will automatically stop or continue depending on the moisture. Hi Nur Farhanah. I looked at the user manual's trouble shooting. The operation will stop if:
      1. The reservoir is full with water. Empty the reservoir and restart the cycle. Or, the hose sag is insufficient as per recommendations.
      2. The load is too small or light.
      In my experience, the cycle usually stops when I try to dry damp clothes. I'm refering to the clothes that are still damp after collecting from clothes line (air dry). If this is your case, you may select the refresh cycle.
